Should we look out for Government job ?
Is it worth trying for a government job considering the current layoff scenario in the tech world (specially in India) ?
Ek jara si inconvenience kya ho gayi tum log to rasta hi badal liye. What was you motivation to get into private jobs in the first place??

Like what sorts of? There are lot of levels in govt job
SSC CGL, RBI Grade B officer, CSIR, etc types of jobs, also considering I have no backup from family, I'm the sole bread earner
Group A Government job and Maharatna PSU jobs will get back 1960s & 70s craze in 3-4 years.....
The charm of top government jobs was lost post liberalization ... That mozo will be back....
Job security will become top priority for most of people in 3-4 years..
However if you are at near expert level in what you do, your earning will skyrocket.....
I've a feeling government jobs total intake will reduce over the coming years.
