I have 3 years of experience in frontend. I usually look for jobs by creating profile on Naukri and expecting calls from recruiters. Also, I apply directly on company portals.

My question to the grapevine community is how should I find good companies?

What I usually do is search up great places to work list or top tech companies on G2. I also apply based on LinkedIn jobs / posts about openings and from Instahyre and Wellfound. Sometimes I do ask for referrals.

Is there any other ways to look up on good tech companies? What do other grapeviners do?

With big corporate giants like Google, Apple, Bain, Tesla, Amazon etc. laying off staff in the name of cost reduction, automation&innovation and restructuring while at the same time tech companies like Accenture not awarding any yearly hikes to professionals for 2 consecutive years now, where do you see the IT/Tech/Consulting industry heading towards in next couple years down the line? I'm currently feeling insanely stuck in my current role, craving more challenging and fulfilling work. While I do get some tasks, they are not even worth using a few braincells. I am losing my sanity here and the pay is meh compared to the other good companies.

What are some good companies to apply? Making this post cause market has been shifting insanely for past years and I am confused on current dynamic, for eg. been seeing a lot of LinkedIn dudes saying to avoid it with the recent layoffs and cut down of the benefits. 

Looking for some ok WLB, good benefits, better pay. Sorry for the vague question, did not know where else to go

I am looking for a job change as a Senior PM.

I recently heard that Uber doesn’t just offer a hefty fixed and variable pay, but they also sweeten the deal with over 50 Lakhs in RSUs—paid out monthly, no less! Quite the steal compared to those companies that trickle out RSUs yearly or quarterly.

I'm putting together a list of companies that offer similar golden packages. If you know of any, please drop their names in the comments. 

Oh, and let's not forget the fine print: work-life balance and company culture will be major deciding factors—because who needs all that money if you’re too exhausted to spend it?
