The pain of RESERVATION

This post does not aim to target personal egos Hello everybody , I'm a general category student with all India rank of 23k in jee mains out of 14lakh And 16k in jee advanced . The story of my life is I want to be a software engineer at this rank I'm not getting into my state nit whereas all my beloved friends at ranks of 50k are getting their (obc reserv.), I worked hard but feels like all my harwork drained in front of reservation . Also to mention my friends pity me haha Also a friend of mine sc category person Got into IIT Bombay Not any branch ppl,electrical branch 5 year at 25k rank in jee advanced sweet ain't it Check out my rank in jee adv and all I can get highest is iit kgp mining Out of all of this I secured admission in a iiit but it's fees is so much that what do I do , Sadly I'm from lower middle class family , the fees is literally 17 lakhs , also I'm a single parent child , living in a small town . THIS IS WHAT I CALL PAIN OF RESERVATION Literally everyday of counselling, ive wished that I should not have worked so hard because if I would not have such score then it would be easy to let go , and go to some 3rd class college with less fees Sometimes it feels ive lost hope , but still just being 18yr old I won't change my Hardworking nature I managed to learn c and c++ and now am doing some basic dsa . But I'm really pained by this system PERIOD.
