Actually this makes lot of sense. When hiring people, every startup founder goes by the same logic - family , friends and then outsiders. If they were so confident of their idea, they would do that first. Its easier to raise money from friends and family than outsider VC's. Even listed companies, % of share held by promoters, % of shares held by FII are a filtering criteria for making investment in that company.

There's lot of hate that goes around on social media Shaming actors, influencers, and people in the limelight generally While you may believe it, there's a hint of 'I can't be like them, I don't have that much money to waste on stuff' Example- Remember the hate Sunil Sheity's daughter got on her first movie or marriage to KL Rahul. She faded from the limelight but would still have a networth far greater than most of us. Bleh, just thinking out loud on random Tuesday No lessons

On good days we speak, on not so good days we go invisible

For some, talking in a meeting can be very easy and natural, but for some, this might look like a big task. A team that creates an open environment and seniors who are welcoming and not bossy are extremely important. I have seen people with good ideas and sensible POVs keeping quiet in a meeting because they were cautious of being judged by their colleagues and seniors who wouldn't stop making jokes on juniors to be the funny ones in the room. Thoughts?
