For me 5 - I start by 11 and end by 7 but take an hour lunch break, 4-5 tea/coffee breaks and some gossips - I tracked one day and it was 5.2 hrs.

I have adhd so I don't (read : can't) work until 2 days before sprint is about to get over then wrap the stuff up with anywhere between 8-10 hours pn both days.

I mean, do we have to constantly keep thinking about what others are earning & not focus on bigger picture called LIFE?

Hi Guys,
I  am working as a software developer in Oracle( btech from old IIT) . Its been 2 years and I now want to switch to management consulting (preferable in MBB) to experience it so want to give MBA.

1. I did some research but I want to gain some information on the salary aspect of it. I heard that the salaries are not that high they would probably be in the same range that I am getting now. BUT, I want to know in the long run do consultants get more hikes compared to tech roles? 

2. I heard the wlb is pretty bad so is there some resource that I can study to know if thats the right suit for me since its a big risk I’ll be taking moving on to a different field. There are some good exit opportunities also I believe after MBB can someone tell more about it.

Would really appreciate some answers on this. Its on my head for a long time. Cheers!

Hello guys..I work in a KPO...fixed CTC of 23lpa....my profile is basically a part of investment banking..not end to end though...covers European markets...client is one of the reputed institutional investor...last year I received a client bonus in excess of 30lakhs...so my total take is in excess of 55lakh pre tax.....
So I got an opportunity from one US investor who wants to open a shop in India. 1 year completely wfh and hybrid post they open office in Mumbai. How much CTC should I ask?

Why are HR professionals paid so low? With around 1.8 years of experience in HR and a current CTC of 4 LPA, I'm surprised that the companies I'm applying to are not offering even a 10% hike.
