User Retention

It's 2024. B2B sales buyer behaviour is changing rapidly. Most companies are dropping their SaaS subscriptions left and right. Inboxes of decision makers are cluttered. Industries are becoming saturated with similar undifferentiated software that have unclear value prop. If you had to grow (or already are growing) your early stage B2B SaaS startup 10x in 2024 to $100K ARR, what would you do?

Can be GMV, revenue, users, EBITDA, customer satisfaction etc. Curious to know what are things people here have seen 👀

This chart shows the retention over time, this product has has around 30% of users still paying after 7 yrs. And 70% after a year. Remarkable retention and it's some we all use. Make a guess?

2 Engineering Director's and a Marketing Director left in last 2 months. CTO, CGO, CHRO have put down papers and are leaving soon. A Sr. Engg Director has also resigned. A couple of SDE's joined and are leaving within the month of joining and more older SDE's leaving too. These are voluntary exits despite the current layoff and downtrend.

Perfios recently received a funding of 230 million dollars. For the employees who didn't have ESOPs or benefit from the ESOPs, would there be a good salary hike associated here? How has the appraisal been in other companies following a round of funding?

seriously what's stopping ??I see many recruiter messaging me , on working on some new domain areas , sometimes i found description of role very lucrative, but then I see amazon comp on top of that its culture, yuck with reputation.Why such a top company with so much earning , cannot care about its employees , why cannot they take proper decisions . I am pretty sure , the strategy team can see attrition data. So why cannot they take action , fix the comp and culture. why so much love with this leadership principles. I am not scared of pip if i joined amazon , but the culture scares me.

I have been hearing from multiple friends across organizations in India. Lay offs are not in news but happening silently across boards. Companies are on cost cutting mode. Interesting year ahead

It's getting more and more salary obsessed and culture obsessed with young minds and mid level folks these days. While it's important that those two are important, sometimes I wonder how founding folks build a team that feels together, ships fast with great quality, don't give up on each other and stay longer in the company.
