 Also your tc seems to be on the lower end, you could also try for sales in SaaS companies, they pay more.

I am 32, and I am currently working in IT support (Incident/problem management. I have currently working in my company for 7 years, and I am currently very much underpaid even though my managers and management are happy with my work. 
I have tried to switch into the same domain in another companies but they are expecting me to lower down the salary, and then I came to know that this job role doesn't yield much and growth is dead end.

Have been working in sales for the last 3 years(post MBA - Tier 1 college) and I am basically tired now of all the headache that comes with it, weekly reviews, bashings from both customers as well as internal higher management in case numbers are not happening, which gets very abusive and taxing at times. I have close to 5 years of experience in non-tech role (PMO+sales operations) and my CTC is close to 17LPA. My work-life balance was bad during the first 4 years but the learnings were good. Now for the last 1 year, my work has been pretty chill but at the same time I'm not learning anything new and I don't see any growth in this role. I'm in a difficult spot as it's not easy to change role at this point of my career and MBA option doesn't make a lot of sense from a financial standpoint as I'm only able to crack the new IIMs.

Hey, so to introduce myself. I recently graduated from a new IIM and got into a product manager role at a bank where I have the responsibility of launching a new product. I always thought that I would end up in a sales role and did my internship as a market research intern as well. Now, I have no idea how to proceed with my current role. I have no tech background with a bachelor's in science and MBA in marketing & strategy. 

Would like to know if I should stay in this role(tbh I like the tasks) or should I change to sales because a fresher with no tech background would always be at a disadvantage 
And if I choose to stay, how do I go on from here? What skills/certifications/steps should I take.
