What are the best startup blogs you’ve read?
Looking for practical advice only. No high level gyaan please. Just how to build right, get a team in place, mitigate risks and ship fast kind of advice
Not startups actually but tech elephants. I am not sure if my inputs can help, still taking a chance -
1. Netflix
2. Uber
Dunno about the best, but I've found some good stuff in Prisma, Railway & PlanetScale blogs.
If you are building right why do you need to ship fast?
First read the mom test book, if you haven't. You will learn everyone around you will lie to you when you ask them for feedback. Then Talk to customers, try to read between the lines what are they not saying, then build a fake product that looks like it works but hollow in the backend, ask potential customers to pay, if they pay then only build the product.
Until they pay, iterate on everything - TG, Value prop, Sales pitch, team, product.
That's it.
Team -
1. Make sure those who ask equity are actually sacrificing good opportunity in their life to deserve equity. This includes yourself as well.
2. Ignore sweat equity, make them convert to founder loan on the company that gets paid back on your fundraising.
