Why cant I find someone who understands me !

29 M, IT professional in Bangalore earning around 65k/month. My parents are looking for girl(non-working) for my marriage later this year.(already knows girls family). But I am worried about all the expenses post-marriage as Bangalore is already a costly city and I will only be sole-earner. Need your honest advices here on how to manage expenses or look for a working partner.

Am I the asshole? After a few months clear to me an employee was taking company for a ride. Average a few days a week in the office, otherwise sick/on errands, delivered no work. CTC 55L. Before I could fire her, she announced she was taking Maternity leave a few months into the job. Well crap guess I need to pay her for 6 more months more because of laws I don't understand. Rip my bank account. She returns, same issues. I put her on a pip & she resigned telling me I'm sexist and it will be hard to find a new job now. I say sorry, performance was bad, she can do pip and stay if things are better. She askes for 2 months salary and i agree. A lawyer calls telling me I need to pay more or they will file a case. Said I discriminated to her, and it's not legal. I think this person is a bully/psycho/self entitled. But am I the asshole?

I have been an introvert all my childhood, pretty shy, with a very small group of friends, and I thought I was the only one who felt lonely sometimes. Since joining college, I realised there are so manyyyy people out there(especially in the dev community) who feel lonely a lot of times. I wanna build an app to connect devs. Relationships are what makes our lives fulfilling right. I have the whole idea ready in my mind, and I talked to a couple peeps about my app idea too and they loved it

Dating has become the norm for relationships today, but many don't realize that it's a relatively recent development, prevalent in Western society for only about a century, and it's already causing societal issues. Previously, Indian arranged marriages were standard (different from forced marriages). Families would arrange meetings between their daughters and another family's sons. If they liked each other, they would soon plan the wedding, marry, have sex, and start families. Today, individuals are left to find their own partners. If you don't find someone in high school, university, or work, your chances of finding a partner diminish. There's also less incentive for marriage, as sex no longer requires marriage or even dating, leading to more people pursuing sex directly. This has created a skewed dynamic where fewer men pursue women due to competition, turning to porn instead, while women face exploitation by men who have abundant choices. Ultimately, near 28-30 both genders rush to the arranged marriage system to get them a partner while having their feet dipped on dating apps. In the US, This has lead to decreased marriage rates and, consequently, lower birth rates since most births occur within marriages. A decline in families results in a decreased population, putting more pressure on younger generations to support an aging population. Western nations, therefore, rely heavily on immigration, causing additional challenges. Increased single motherhood also correlates with higher crime rates, drug use, loneliness, mental health issues, and suicides P.S. I'm young and dating too. Just thoughts for a conversation on what the implications of dating for us as a society could be.

And I don't have friends who share my vision in life. They are great friends, no doubt. Female friends have married, left work or working in one company for stability. Male friends are working but not ambitious on money (nothing wrong, it is just how I view it) I'm not unhappy, but I would appreciate being surrounded by people who have the zeal to make life bet.ter

I grew up with 5 sisters (1 real and 4 cousin), I am aware about the pain and the tribulation that women go through and have always been supporting women in general. I was shocked to see the opposite when I stepped into the real world. Most women whom I have met have only disposed me after using my resources. Be it a friend or even a prospective gf. Even my lady therapist offered the same solution indirectly by saying that things work differently for men. I have always responded to their rants and have comforted them. But when it was my chance to vent out, they were like YOU ARE A MAN YOU SHOULDNT BE BOTHERED BY MENTAL ISSUES, FOCUS ON YOUR WORK. I feel bottled up and sometimes end up breaking down. These are the people I have been knowing for ages. The other day I randomly started slapping myself for no reason in the washroom. I dont feel like I am being heard. I dont want such a life where I am being left alone for feeling the same things a woman would feel. I feel that the only thing I am good for is making money. Afterall, thats what men are supposed to be. This is a punishment for breaking my mould and I accept that. I have been very empathetic so far. NEVER AGAIN. I love myself and only myfuckingself nowww. There is this book called "Men are from jupiter Women are from venus" which clearly states that when women are in misery, make them feel heard. And when men are in misery, leave them alone. QUEEN , RATHER PLS K!LL US ALREADY. Why are kind men being subjected to the punishment which bad men (rapist, dowryfreaks, cheaters) deserve? Why do I see bad men getting so much attention and respect? Why are we still adulating Ranbir Kapoor's charachter for cheating on Rashmika just coz Tripti was attractive? Being emotional is such a curse for men ! Dear men, Please focus on your LPA and provide for your parents, future wife ,and kids, and when youre old enough, JUST ROT AND D!E. The moment you dont, you will be treated like hell.

M29 / Never felt love ever in my entire life I’m a M/29 good looking , well educated and in a good paying job. All through my life I’ve never felt loved or been in a proper relationship. Ive been respected , valued but never really “loved “. Ive got a really good friends circle and good parents who love me but this is different . I’ve liked a couple of girls in the past , spoke to them for a while but never took off until a relationship level. I’m also not a person who would shoot a shot at every girl just to be in a relationship . Currently I feel really desperate to be loved . I love myself but there’s a constant desire to be loved by someone . sometimes even a small act of affection from opposite gender makes me wonder if it’s love . People would know constantly ask me why I’m single even after being a well qualified bachelor which hurts even more. Looking for some genuine advice how to get over this feeling or if this feeling is valid .

I have been a little caught up with numerous things in my life lately and have finally found some free time to open up myself to new experiences. I had a wishlist of shows and movies that I wanted to watch but as soon as I start watching them, I get bored and feel like turning it off. No, its not the content No, its not the genre No, its not the actors No, its not the taste either This is pretty ironic as considering the fact that I have spent a fair share of my youth chasing academics and career, my heart had always craved for life experiences. I had to let go of the woman I loved simply because I was too focussed on my JEE. I wont be able to forgive myself for that EVER. It almost felt like I had lost a limb, without which , I would be rendered disfunctional. Thats a separate story tho. Nothing excites me (yep nothing) Nothing amuses me Nothing feels lively I have no clue where my life is headed I understand that as we age, our triggers of happiness change. I have put concious efforts into knowing what those new triggers are. But I cant find any plausible sources of happiness. I am performing pretty well with my career. Even got a double digit hike. But didnt feel that kick of joy. Have I approached a dead end?
