In my previous org they created a new group / channel with all men. All Men group. And the head of engineering sent a note on all men group about doing something nice for your female colleagues and inclusiveness etc

I don’t see anything wrong with this. It’s clear that the agenda is not to give additional leave benefit, but to normalise women taking period leaves. At present,  women usually use a different reason (headache/fever/backache etc) to apply for leave, while the actual reason is period pain/discomfort. Not every step is meant for a material benefit, you have to see the intangible value to the society.

I have seen pseudo feminism happening everywhere around which has just wasted everyone’s time and energy over debating for false narratives. Does feminism really matter or it brought any change in corporate lives. If yes then why still pay parity exist and why projects have been given on the basis of gender but not on the basis of skill and experience? What’s your take on this ?

- It's hard being the only woman in the leadership, in a room full of older men. If you don't hang out with them, you are excluded. If you do hang out with them, you got to get you act right with nods and smiles along the small talk. If If If If.. thats the loop you are caught in.
- Imagine being the only female developer in the team. BRO code is the default setting. DEV code took a sabbatical. All of you go hang out with beer, smoke and whatever and what if I am not into that? I am not a so called BRO then. And dont even get me started on the casual jokes and me not being into gaming and TT. Go ahead ask me.. How does she even fit in then.. Right??
- Declare I’m taking a "Wellness" Day. Might as well hold a flag and say "Guess who's on her period?! ME ME ME!" So much for your policies
- I can’t even begin to count the number of times I’ve been interrupted, spoken over.. 
- Dress too casually, you're not taken seriously. Dress too nicely, you're trying too hard. I've been judged for my clothes more times than I can count - too much, too little, too fashionable - yep been called that too. It’s exhausting
- I think my presence is acknowledged only when it’s convenient for them. My opinions and insights are ignored until they need a female face to tick a diversity box
- I’ve stayed late and worked weekends just to prove I’m just as dedicated as the others (even when I was doing next weeks work)
- Finding a mentor who truly understands the challenges I face as a woman in tech is nearly impossible. Male mentors often don’t get it, and female mentors are spread too thin
- I was told to speak up but when I did, I was labeled aggressive. I'm expected to be assertive but not too assertive, confident but not too confident. Also if I am progressing too fast, I have someone special rooting for me for something special in return - that the peoples verdict. And then the gossip starts.

A large majority of Orgs, Founders, Leaders, HR are getting by doing the bare minimum.

2. Ensuring work life balance + providing support 
3. Diversifying hiring from various backgrounds
4. Investing in learning and development

What other things do you think can be done?

Since there is so much talk about Indian companies, innovation and it's lack thereof, what do you think workplaces can do to make them more conducive to bringing in more innovation?

This might be controversial but i want to know just why so many benefits for women in tech ? , I saw special hackathons only for women and also special trainings from big companies like Amazon only for women and of course diversity hiring.  Is it because men can't work enough and women do more or what ?

Why special place for women in tech ?

Because men forgot that women can also work, and continued to hired only of their kind. Men also went above and beyond to keep women suppressed in all the ways possible.  
  
 It's not a special place for women. It's just making their entry to tech easier. Because, husbands are already making their wives life/work-life miserable, so are the fathers for their daughters. All these programs are to bridge the gap of having an near equal perspectives in everything - the gap which shouldn't have occurred in the first place.  
  
 But yes, there's a big hole in the approach. Those who're already getting equal and ample opportunities/would have succeeded by their own (from tier 1 or some tier 2 cities and colleges) are getting access to most of these program. They will be a part of multiple programs and prevents those who could have made use of it from making use of the opportunity. Most of the profiles that you see come under this category.  
  
 But there are organizations that specifically look beyond them, into the tier 3 colleges where students could be upskilled and hired. So is the case with return to work programs as well.  
  
 Most of the men see women as someone who's not capable of doing anything. If women, by any chance, gets to their level or goes above them, men can't stand that. Why go further, some men even ensures that women are not even getting to their level, and even if they reach, be under them itself rather than considering women equal.  
  
 With all these problems, women don't complain much as well. So yeah, whatever 'special' things are there, that just tried to help a bit. That's it.  
  
 If companies feel that they're not working properly, next steps will be taken accordingly. A business can be run by just women as well, like how men ran it all this time. 
  
 For every type of women (in tech), there will be an equivalent type of men as well. 
  
 So yeah, being men, if we're not helping them, at least don't complain.

- Pseudo feminists who claim to champion the so-called issues of women.

- Undeserving women who hold high positions in their organizations by virtue of diversity quota surpassing ‘deserving men’.

- Married women that gain mileage at work by weaving false narratives of being tortured by their in-laws.

- Women that indulge in gossip at work to show a bad light of their male colleagues.
