I don’t need one more platform to watch reels 🤬

It’s clear to me that this isn’t good for me. My interaction with the outside world and being in the present is inversely proportional to how much I use IG/smartphone. IG is obv the strongest drug, but in general want to be more conscious about what I do on my phone, when Inuse it. Looking for genuine advice. Please help 🙏🏻

This is worse addiction than smoking, drinking. Haven't watched any short/reels for 5 days straight feeling like a void inside. But its better, Watching reels/shorts would give a feeling of satisfaction because of the dopamine release. So seeking other experiences for that dopamine hit. Life is getting better.

I use Instagram to see what my friends are doing but most of the time I go to the discover section and keep watching reels for hours. I just want to see what my friends are doing and share some of my life moments with them - not endless reels and ads. Do you guys also face the same problem? Is there any private social media where I can just get connected with my friends only? Do you guys also face the problem?

Millennial and Gen Z face mood swings due to multiple reasons. Generally I do below stuffs... 1. Listen to music or watch fav movies 🍿 2. Read a book 📖 3. Swimming or Gym or a sprint run. 4. Biking at 20kmph and 80kmph also, both have separate zones. 5. Talk to parents or close friends. 6. Sleep 7. Sunsets or birdwatching Attaching a snap of sunset from my today's bike trip, covered 130km in 2h. It feels so rejuvenating. Watching reels/shorts is the last option. What's your method for refreshment?
