Dark stores & Cloud kitchens need better regulations

Don't you think online food ordering apps should segment or at least mention whether the restaurant is a ghost kitchen or a real restaurant?

How is your experience been using eatsure app, I have been using it for one week, prices are much cheaper for same food via Zomato of this cloud kitchen. Good varieties also Now coming to in app experiences, I feel it needs a lot of refinement, it send a lot of unnecessary notification till order completion and beyond. Also once you switch from swiggy and zomato in app experience, you can feel the difference and it makes me appreciate the hard work of all the engineers and team to make such seamless experience. I think eat sure can do better and is a good option but it certainly can do better in app experience and PM needs to work to create better user journey in this. Would be happy to know your experiences and how do you see review this app

Hello everyone,I hope you remember me. I am a student studying at one of the IIMs. Yesterday was my first day of opening a cloud kitchen on Swiggy, Zomato, and Thrive.I received 0 orders from Zomato and Thrive, but I got 3 orders on Swiggy (2 from friends and family). One order was organic, which I suppose is at break-even (they share detailed stats after a week).The reviews I received are as follows:Packaging: Looks clean and gives the impression of a healthy place to order from.Food: Customers wanted more quantity and a little more spice. I think I can adjust that.But my main question is, how can I attract more customers? I am already offering the maximum discounts. Thanks for any advice and help!😃

I really to lot of restaurants and they're tired by the heft commissions and also that they don't any customer data. Do you think some one can compete with these aggregators?

Can someone share their business stories of cloud kitchen. Is it profitable? How much initial investment required? How did you chose what to sell among lot of varieties available?

Hello, I am a student at one of the IIMs following the IPM degree, which is a five-year curriculum. I intend to construct a cloud kitchen centered solely on the hero product and variations around it.
