My ex (then boyfriend) would be "busy" through the day and then send cute texts at night 2 am, sometimes 3 am And stupid me would believe "Awww he is thinking about me" We were in college together, and he never attended classes. God knows what he was busy with. College got over, our relationship too, because long distance and lockdown didn't really carry. Yesterday, I get a "Hey, how have you been?" at 2.38 am Damn the spiral. But I am big girl now, and intelligent. I blocked him! He is NOT "thinking" of me at 2 am.

Disclaimer: This is not a dating post Started casually speaking to this guy from Grapevine. I got the confidence that he is genuine, so we chatted (no long chats or daily talk) over Instagram for 4-5 months. He had to fly to Bangalore for some work, so we planned to meet. He was all excited and decided the place too. We met for lunch; nothing shady or that would make me uncomfortable, he had some work so left after that. We had exchanged numbers, and I thanked him over Whatsapp. It was all cutesy and funny for a day. I even shared some ice cream place I went to, the next day with friends. And then talks went to zero. Anything I shared got a one-word responses. So I stepped back; no point being pushy even in friendship. We haven't talked for over a month now. But he was (is) such a nice person. I don't know why he would just stop talking for no reason. Is it something I did or said? Was he expecting something different that I didn't do? Do I send him some meme or something? Am I overthinking? He could be simply too busy to talk to someone he met once

I’m a digital marketing job where my manager was fired a week before. Now they have moved me under another person for reporting but he is so bossy and attitudes and mainly he never understands marketing. He is more of an operation guy. Life is getting toxic under him as for each and everything need to explain a lot and he gives me random other work which is not relevant to me and takes time.. just after my old manager went, I’m spending like 12-14 hours everyday.. too much off mental stress.. Also the founder believes him more than anyone in company. So I’m planning to resign immediately, I don’t have any job offer and so far just giving interview in 2 company’s since last week but I guess it will take more time to get a job as market scenario is not good.. I’m ok to take a hit for 1-2 month for now as resigning immediately and just focus on getting a better job. So need your thoughts and opinion on this..

I'm a 26-30 F at IIM Calcutta, and it seems like a lot of my classmates are already in relationships. It's a cliché that you might find your partner in B-school, but seeing others dating makes me anxious. In my first year, I was all about academics, which turned out to be tougher than I thought. Now, I'm gearing up for placements, which should be my main focus (luckily, I have some interviews lined up!). But I can't shake the feeling that time is slipping away, and I get FOMO watching friends having fun and meeting new people. I know it's a privilege to be in an MBA program, especially at IIM Calcutta, but there's this nagging feeling that I'm missing out on the social side. Plus, I wonder if it's worth dating when people might move away for jobs after graduation. Do people use dating apps while in the MBA program here? I tried apps like Hinge and Bumble but didn't see many fellow students. With all this, how do people date post-MBA in big cities? I'm not into dating apps or the bar scene. How do you meet new people?

Hi, I am in service based company, Graduated in 2022 and did internship in MERN Stack in BYJU's Exam Prep for 10 mos As I had worked in start up , I am having decent knowledge of at least completing the task. I need to switch badly. Girls were never my friends , no point of GF. Fast forward to now , I am in a project and working on React. There is a girl of same batch and we are working on frontend only. Our dev started in May, and at that time we chit chat for normal queries. After a day or 2 , She started to discuss approach with me, I was ok ( as I was talking to girl no feelings at that time, and was discussing logic). And then slowly the scenario become like she use to call me on teams for any single query , and I in excitement talked to her. I loved her voice had not seen her as our stand up was on teams. I used to help her , and she gives the update like " I am doing this" / " I am doing this , facing some issue, and trying to resolve that " And in each case I was there with her. And then this continued uptill 20 July . I was getting feelings for her , like why a girl is talking to me without even seeing/ knowing. I was interested w/o any reason. I just need a partner to share feelings. And then then due to project requirement , we were asked to come to office. We came on Monday , i helped her normally as we used to discuss with each other on teams. We both saw each other on that day for first time face to face. Her task was going ok, and was supposed to complete on Tuesday, bu by reaching office she use to connect with seniors instead of me and they use to tell her the approach not doing her task. Hence this took full week. I was noticing this from Tuesday to friday (23-26) and we were gradually decreasing our conversation.. Our accomodation is in company's society. I talked to her and her 2 friends in Friday night when I was roaming out. We made plan to go for mall / Iskcon. On Saturday we went outside. For Sunday i asked her to go out she said.......

So I interviewed for a SaaS company serving US clients. I got selected after three rounds (basic email chat, built a project, technical coding round at last) and got selected. Finally, it was time to discuss salary and joining date with the CEO. He was impressed by the about section on my portfolio, where I mentioned that I like to go on treks, hikes, read books, lift weights, go on a run, etc. During our call he mentioned that everyone at the startup works 6-7days a week, 12hrs a day and asked if I'd be fine with it as I have a "happening life". I said that I'm not used to it but I'll manage and work in appropriate working hours. He seemed to agree on it. But he ghosted me after that, and when I pinged him in the email thread; he said he's not moving ahead with me because my other properties won't allow me to "work as much as other employees". How am I supposed to react to this lol

I've noticed that the men in my life (boyfriend, brother, male friends), seems to handle one question at a time. When I text them multiple questions, they usually only answer the last one. The second last gets completely ignored. My female friends don't seem to have this problem. Why do men do this? I'm genuinely curious!
