Accenture Promotion
Hey people working in Accenture, can we see how many of you got increment /promotion in June Cycle.
I am currently at L11. I was at least expecting some increment. My manager told us that nobody got increment. Only people who are promoted got it. They are giving the same excuses every cycle. Do you think if we can/should raise our voice for the same. I don't know what to say when they just throw these kind of excuses at us.
It literally is the worst company to work for. I am so done with Accenture. There are no rewards for you even if you do a good job, so better don't do it only.
Please share your experiences.

Same at 11 since Dec 21.In our process almost more than 10 people waiting for 5 to 7 years. No hikes, no promotions

If you are at CL 11, was there no dub level movement that would have happened in 2022 or 2023 And were you not identified for stay at level hike in Dec 2022

Accenture is really the worst place to work, I have wasted my 2.5 years working here without single hike

That's too bad. What is your tech stack

I got promoted around dec 21 on CL11 and still on same level Now I have put my paper and lead is saying stay you would be having promo in next cycle 😄

Just put the paper if you have an offer.

Accenture promotion cycle 2024 has been shifted from December to June. To align with client planning and budgeting processes, Accenture has made this change. Furthermore, this decision ensured better visibility of demand. Owing to prevailing economic conditions, Accenture had to come up with this decision. Employee’s frustration with not getting promotions is understandable but a company cannot take a decision that may hinder their growth process. Moreover, Accenture is not the only IT firm that is facing an economic slowdown. EY, PWC and others are also dealing with similar situations. Also, there are companies which have laid off employees as a cost-cutting strategy.

If you plan to join Accenture, your first emphasis should be understanding the Accenture Promotion Cycle. You will climb up to CL11 in a year, which is standard timing. You may expect the upper step within 9 months if your performance is excellent. For those at CL 11.2 and CL 11.3 levels, you may have to go through the standard and fast-track SL movements. Suppose you’ve been promoted in December 2022; your next promotion will be due in December 2023. However, due to business sentiments, you missed it. According to the SL movement, your next promotion should fall in June 2024. This is also likely to be missed, as in December 2024, you will again have an annual appraisal. Hence, CL 11.2 and CL 11.3 will likely miss their SL movements as they will receive their hike in December 2024.

A couple of things to understand before we discuss hike and promotion. A sub level movement at CL 11 happens in a year( standard) and fast track( 9 months). However, if someone is at CL 11.3 and CL 11.2, the standard and fasttrack SL movements are applicable. If a promotion happened in December 2022, them the next should have happened in Dec 2023.However, it was frozen last year due to business sentiments. So a SL movement could have been offered in June 2024.I guess this has been avoided as Dec 2024 will be an annual appraisal for all so business avoided giving standard SL movement to CL 11.3 and CL 11.2 knowing the hike has to be given in Dec 2024.
