Bangalore problems
Moved to Bangalore a few months back. I've lived in Delhi NCR, Maharashtra, West Bengal, UP, Punjab but Bangalore just doesn't give me homely vibes.
Everyone in Bangalore is so busy in hustle that there are very less number of cafes joints around office areas to hang out . People just go to office and come back. Others may enjoy corporate meetings and parties. But there's a limit for me..
Any suggestions on what can I try to explore or do here? Vegetarian+ Non drinking habit is adding on difficulties to already a very limited thing I can do. I

I also felt the hustle culture when I moved to Bangalore. All parts of this city are hustling. Random passing by groups be taking about tech and dev. Pretty sure half the cab drivers know c/c++.
There is a startup for everything. Need a poster? There are 10 pass for that.... like bc poster chapne Wale bhi founder Bane ghum rahe.
Women are highly entrepreneurial. They will use diversity hiring to get big jobs and be going out with like 10 different dudes over the weekend who pay for everything. If that ain't a growth mindset I don't know what is.

Guess u havent visited Indiranagar, Koramangala and ITPL areas enough.

same brother same, there's nothing homely abt blr. the food sucks too, being a fellow vegetarian ik how bad it is.
imo, blr is a ghost town, dead city

Join a gym, if you don't go to one already. Make homies there, talk about protein all day with them. Enjoy a healthy life forever.

Go on Treks to nearby areas, there are many places to go to and groups, just explore

I don't know where you stay in Bangalore but some places are a little "homlier" than others.
It's obviously best to stay closest to work to avoid life altering commutes.
If that is not a constraint look to staying in Jayanagar (1 / 4 / 4T / 7), Koramangala (3 / 4), Indiranagar Defense Cly, Malleswaram, Sankey Tank, etc.
Try and stay closer to where your community stays - you'll find language and general access to food from your home state easier. Should also take care of some of the alien feels an outsider in Bangalore gets.
Some areas are decidedly work and weekend only - eg. Whitefield.

Travel nearby places and make new like minded friends... Else fall in love with loneliness
