Best weight loss advices that have worked

I have been struggling to loose weight for quite sometime. Due to sedentary lifestyle and now welcoming into my mid 30’s, I have gained almost 10-12 kgs in past 2-3 years. Have tried many things like gym, walking but have to be honest that I have not been consistent in anything. I have accepted the harsh reality that your 30’s also seem to take away the largest share of energy away and it always feels tired and less enthusiastic as it was in life few years ago.

But right now priority is to loose weight and become fit again. So please share for any tips and tricks that have worked for you, all suggestions and methods welcomed. If any particular diet, routine or unconventional methods that have been instrumental for you guys to loose weight.

I lost 10-12 kg in 2-3 month. What I did was used to carry clove and limit my calories to 1000-1300. I used to have like breakfast and lunch.. that too half what I used to have and then nothing to just either a cucumber or carrot at night before 8 pm and at night before 1 hr to bed used to have milk and flax seed or isabgol. Also used to do 6000 steps on daily basis.

Well I used clive to beat my hunger episodes. Primarily when you end up going for diet you crave for lot of things. I deleted swiggy/zomato and dunzo at that time. Also always kept clove to beat hunger and irritation during peak.. you might get bit cranky initially but eventually it works out. You can use other alternatives also which is 0 calorie

Main thing is consistency. You'd never lose weight if you don't feel motivated to workout consistently. So, find your type of workout that you look forward to every day. It can be zumba class, Yoga or workout or a brisk walk in the park. That way, you enjoy doing it and you'll have less chances of skipping it. This way you will Try to find ways to improve your metabolism. It will be a bit inconvenient at first, but once you start seeing results, you'll be addicted.

The next best thing you can do is, Do not keep the goal as 'spending more calories than you consume'.

Try to have a tailored diet that is low in calories, high in protein and fibre. Reduce processed foods if you are consuming them. Portion control is the key.

In case you have a habit of binge eating or you love food, try having 2 meals a day. That way you cannot eat more per meal because you are full and slight deficiency in calories will promote to fatloss.

Good luck!

Cut sugar, walking, skip lunch or dinner.

I haven't lost a lot of weight to provide any tips or suggestions, but in the last 2-3 months I followed a simple diet, mainly home cooked meals. This reduced a lot of cravings for any outside food. You can also remove Zomato/ Swiggy from your phone, which will help you a lot in craving outside foods. I make sure to walk a lot though, minimum of 7k steps everyday. Walking itself will help you on many things.

Cut carbs, outside food, fried food and sugar. Add protein instead. Focus on healthy snacking (fruit, coconut water, nuts in limited quantity). You will get there. Cutting outside food and cutting carbs works way faster than exercise.
