Dealing with a 3 month notice period

I'm a frontend dev with 4 YOE, currently in a mid sized organisation.

TC : 10LPA NP: 3 months

I feel I've been ripped off, I wanna switch but it's tough coz of a quarter long notice period. How unfair is 3 month notice and Gimme some pointers on dealing with it.

He's right. I don't think people can hold it against you if you just abscond. But you won't get the full and final settlement from them. What I suggest is, give your resignation, qpply for companies, give interviews, as you near your notice period, you should get a lot of offers if you are good

Some people search actively after putting down papers as they feel 3 months is sufficient to get another job and I have seen people getting successful in it.
Also, is it possible for you to withdraw the paper once you are unable to find a suitable job? One of my friend did the same

I think resignation withdrawal should be allowed, as it's a small company there isn't any hard rule in place at least didn't see in my offer letter. But Yeah, you make a good point.

Give some interviews by telling it's negotiable, cracking interviews will eventually help you in breaking the 3 months Barrier. 🤞

Yeah, good strategy. I have tried this, telling I can join in like a month, but at the end of the day you have to reveal the secret. I've been ghosted many times, even after reaching final rounds about 7-10 companies. No one wants to wait. Interview practice atleast. Guess I'll have to take a risk and resign then search. Issue is attending interviews is pretty hard, as I can't take leave during notice and have to go to office. Rules 😅 Let's see.

As per Article 21, the Right to livelihood has been made a fundamental right as it ensures that no person shall be deprived of his means of subsistence. This right includes the right to work, employment and trade union.

My friend told me for this to work, you have to fill and win case.

Interesting, lol. Seems to me resigning and searching, is a better option than file and win the case.

You might be able to buy it off right? And some companies would be open to help you with it as well.

No, my company doesn't allow a buyout option.
