Decision Making

I'm a 30Yo with 7years in the same industry however at only 6LPA. For someone with this much experience i surely deserve more hence i started looking out for opportunities and got a 9LPA offer. When I put down my papers the current company has promised appraisal but are not confirming how much will I get and when will it start from. And now I'm stuck because the new offer is running out and my current company is simply binding time. I'm really clueless and ffs i really need to start making good decisions. #Salary

Is this even a debate at this point? Switch.

Don’t let companies roll over you like this.

Also, I’d still continue interviewing and get another offer on top of 9 LPA. Because you’re severely underpaid.

I agree man but I've changed like 6 companies in 7 years and I'm really worried about the stability part in my resume. I have 0 salary negotiation skills 😭

Learn to negotiate salaries. This gives the best ROI in just 2-3 hours of work.

I was in same boat a year back. Harsh reality, but stop trusting people so blindly. Companies are here to make profit, they will not take one day to let you go. You shouldn't think twice either.

They will never be able to match market, and never give you anything in writing

Do yourself a favour, move out immediately

Thats true every employee is replaceable especially in the fintech industry that I'm in people move on with a relatively high speed

Don’t be loyal to any company specially when they are severely underpaying.

Switch and stop hoping from your current company. If they would have cared about u, then they would have already given the raise.

Need to decide my offer/situation

I just joined a company and it's been only 2 weeks. When I accepted the offer there was another interview in pipeline and some delay was going. The result came and now I am confused what to do.
