Does JPMC really pay so Less
Any JPMC folks around? I keep getting JPMC job emails from Naukri, and they mention salary range of 15-30 lakhs, for experience range of 8-12 yrs (Hyderabad location). I used to think JPMC pays nice, but this looks so low! So why so low range being shown? Are they just trying to exploit the current market situation, or is it actually the usual pay they offer? The Position is for Full Stack Developer.
That's what new grad sde get from tier 1 in JPMC
Can’t start comparing things with Tier 1 everytime. Everybody knows they get paid much more. But what about the lateral hires from Tier 3 Colleges? Even for them, how come they pay so less. I would say for 12 yrs exp, they should have been quoting at least 40 lakhs. Keeping in mind that being a Banking firm, they are supposed to pay more (hectic work, stiff deadlines etc). So this low range seems puzzling.
I don't think those naukri numbers are accurate.
People actually take those salary ranges seriously?
And why shouldn’t people take it seriously? You as a HR is citing a salary range in writing, and you think candidates should just ignore it and presume that it is just a fake range being given?
Yes. There is a 15L variation between the top and bottom. It’s absurd. Absolutely no one takes listed ranges seriously. It comes down to negotiation with the recruiter
