Healthy Food
What are some resources that help you learn about healthy food and how to be healthy in general?
I really want to learn about the following:
- What all food gives you enough nutrients.
- Which food gives which kind of vitamins, proteins, fats, etc
- How many calories you should take per day based on your age, gender, height, and other parameters.
- What do u mean by fried, non-fried food.
Like I'm literally a beginner as you can see.
FitTuber on YouTube can help you. Also, another bunch of youtubers are also there like Dr Pal. Can't remember their name. Will update later on the thread
Thank you.
Do you also know some guide for beginners? Like usually these youtubers take a concept and then explain it. But there's no flow for a beginner to understand.
I am a beginner too and not the right person to address all of your queries. What I do to learn is look out for resources on YouTube, internet, talk to my gym trainer, doctors etc. Just be curious and ask a lot of questions.
Simple: make every meal
50% vegetables
25% protein
25% carbs
But how do I know which meal gives what 🙃
@Celsius_Fahrenheit Ah, Healthifyme calorie tracking should be a good place to start.
Followed by if you are obese (specially >27 BMI), recommend using a CGM, continuous glucose monitor via Ultrahuman, Healthifyme.
Once a year blood tests to identify deficiencies like Vitamin D, B12 will help.
