Is switching from CG to Cognizant better?
Is it better to switch from Capgemini to Cognizant after working for around 2.8 years in CG and getting much less increment ( almost no increment)? How much % hike can I expect in Cognizant?
If you want to grow, don't take lollipop from your current organisation like 30% hike or 40% hike. If they wanted to give they have given you already. Just because you have another offer in hand and in that company you can put value and learn more which helps you in career growth. Companies like infosys, tcs and other mnc will offer you such hikes in order to retain you but you know what you learned in past in these companies, so if you have better opportunity go for it
How to get a better opportunity is where I’m stuck
it depends on you, your skills, company requirements and luck... when i was searching for jobs i was not sure whether i will get calls or not but i start getting 2-3 calls weekly from different companies and start ups
Even I'm not getting any calls after applying to several companies. A friend suggested to improve ATS score but i tried a lot it doesn't improve. Wasted my 3 years at useless projects.
+1
