How do you manage work and family

I have 2year old and a working mom!
It’s difficult to manage both work and baby along with household things!
My baby goes to daycare for 2hours and 3days a week as I go to office at that time.
My mom comes once a while and stays with me for 10days and it is my relaxation time. But spending alone and taking care of her is quite difficult.
My sleep patterns has changed and I have many sleepless nights due to work pressure (both office and home). My eating style has changed and gained 20more kgs than my actual weight . Couldn’t able love my body! My baby doesn’t leave me a single second, I had to carry her everywhere I go. Whenever I left her daycare school she cries and that made my life miserable! Sometimes I think why would I work?

Thanks god I was on bench during her 1st year with limited firm work where I spent more time with her!

i do bare minimum office work. Just like paying taxes i do just enough that i don't get called up. Every manager has a time schedule. Most Indian managers think we work hard if we send out lot of emails, and work late. American managers are happy as long as they do not get any escalations. EU guys are quite flexible if you tell them the truth and be open about work life balance.

So my wife and myself have managed schedules accordingly. Both of us has understood the value of Joint family set up. So to nothing to worry for now. The only problem is youtube. As long as thats in control, we should be safe.

I am a very new parent. Parents are the best support system at the moment. Not sure how will that work over time.

This is the same for me as well. But thing is your health is more priority for you and your baby as well. So take help and take good care of you. Kids will grow eventually healthy. We should be there for them physically more than emotionally. This is my approach currently. Am in an accepting mode that this is the life.
