Hey I mostly work on frontend - Angular and react. I have basic knowledge of c# sql. What do you think my ideal package would be with this skillset. I sometimes feel this is the max maybe?

Basically if you have good knowledge in the angular and react along with other technology you could get a package in range of 25-30 or more as well .but as you have 8 year experience you should be interviewing for team lead or architect position I guess ,so you should have a very good grasp on LLD and HLD concepts, design pattern and architecture concept as well along with the core dev technology

You can easily get in the range of 40-50
But you have to play the game Being from the service sector and underpaid category, people will low ball you a lot, so you need at least 3-4 offers. Or one start up offer, research around, know your worth and don't low ball yourself when the HR asks the expected salary, because some people do bet on people and don't care if you were underpaid.

All the best

@Ntaneja921 since you are from TCS I just want to share a bad experience I had with the Hr. They were fixed with 20lpa and the base salary is lesser than my current base salary. I tried to negotiate based on that but the HR rudely replied that if I don't acknowledge they might go with secondary candidates or blacklist me 😐

Their work is to undervalue you .they want you in their organisation in less amount so they will always try to do this .I think you should accept the offer and juggle this offer for a better offer in any well established startup or any other company.

That' true we undervalue ourself. Let's hope for the best :) already I am quite upset with all of this and the behavior of my current manager towards me and these HR's

8 years of experience and offering 20Lpa !! Better take more offers until your notice period is over. You can easily get above 30. I mean if you have the skill set you definitely deserve above 30lpa given your experience range

Do not accept TCS offer. After joining you will not get hike for approx 2years. Also Every quarter they will deduct 25-35% from your QVA. In normal appraisal cycle you can get max 6-7% hike if you are top performer else 4% and below.

Better try for other company opportunities and try to get better package.

Look for another offer based on TCS offer.try for more offers with more CTC .with this experience you can easily get 35-40 lpa from a product based company.so let's assume you gave a interview for company A they offer you 21 Lpa ,you told them you already have a offer of 22 Lpa and demand 30% hike on it that is 29 lpa they offered you 27 lpa and you gave another interview for company B ,you told them you already have offer of 27 lakh and demand 35 lpa .so by juggling offers you can easily get a good offer for this experience

Btw whats your tech stack and check it's demand in market and salary range for the same at 6-10 year experience
