I wonder what if woke culture, gender studies comes in India?

I mean seriously if our schools also start teaching kids and teenagers about gender studies, feminism, wokism, cancel culture and all that stupidity, won’t it destroy our culture.

We were saved because we didn’t had internet and smartphones back then by while growing up. But today’s kids and upcoming generations are not lucky. Already I see many school and college girls and guys speaking with an American accent, hating our own culture, watching only American movies/shows, and dreaming to become Americanised completely.

. I somehow feel this shit will come and grab the attention of our kids generations 5/10 years down the line. Can anything be done to prevent it?

I will try to keep my points simple.

  1. First of all, you don't have to worry about these kids trying to be American. There is a reason for this. a. First reason is the education system. You see there is a very influence of our culture in our education system. It's the same british bs. These kids became marxists since childhood because of this education whose sole purpose was that Indians should hate their culture and tradition. (Typical Macaulay thinking). b. But anyway, It's not like you are seeing for the first time. It just that, iski intensity kaafi zyada hai, and it is becoming even more prominent. And, this trait is commonly found in high-society kids and urban families. Most urban people live in pseudo american reality in this country. c. Very important thing, there is something called ideological subversion. So, If you want to control the next generation you have to ideologically subvert the current generation. This means, you have to brainwash them in such as way that they forget all their roots and start hating their culture. As a result, the next generation will have 0 connection with their roots and it is easy to manipulate and brainwash them.

  2. Now, one of the things wokeism does is, it reduce the ability of ask the right questions. One thing that worries me is that these so-called modern kids don’t even question ki bhai kya hai feminism or cancel culture or wokism for that matter. They just accept it because it comes from the west. And, as you know humare yaha pe koi bhi chiz west se aati hai toh woh cool lagti hai…right??

  3. One thing I’m 100% sure about is that western culture is dying. Iska shelf life bas ho gaya thode time aur. This wokeism has eaten the western culture and iska ant bahut hi khatarnak hoga…but anyway.

  4. Kal ka colonialism aaj ka modernism bana gaya hai aur kutch nhi. Dekho, don’t get me wrong ki I’m saying don’t embrace western culture. All I want to say, question them before adapting and we are the 10000 yr old civilisation. Bc kisi ki aukat nhi hai hume aake gyan de ki kya karna hai and kya nhi. All issues that you see in hinduism as of now is result of last 1000 yrs (Will discuss later someday).

  5. One of the most important thing about wokeism is that, it starts with propaganda in the name freedom of speech/culture blah blah….and also human rights (their favourite). And, if you question or counter them you become racist, fascist aur pta nhi kya kya…

  6. So, If you want your kids or next generation to not fall in these wokeism trap. Start teaching them our culture..specially teach them what happened with us in the last 1000 yrs and how it was the darkest period. Iss generation ko koi idea hi nhi hai ki we aren’t just a population, we are civilization. I believe any civilization which doesn’t their ancestral past and history can be easily manipulated, brainwashed and collapsed.

I hope you got my points. Thanks 🙏

Well written! You have nailed it in explaining in simple terms. Basically all we need to focus right now is on our culture, traditions, civilization stories, our history. Maybe even our NEP can help if they focus more on right history and not the Mughal-British-Nehruvian one. And parents and family will play a big role just like previous generations to shape the future of next generation. I think family system is what will save us in long term, and west doesn’t have it so they are in decline for the last couple of decades. Thanks for sharing your insights.

As Indians, we need to get over our past. Not because it wasn't glorious, but because NOBODY truly understands what our "culture" allowed or endorsed. Do you think there were no concept of non-binary genders and woman empowerment in ancient India? Everything conservative that you call "culture" comes from a strong influence of the British. They were the ones who discriminated between genders, races, and were against everything that you mentioned. What we call "Indian culture" today is a result of them enforcing their conservative views on our pretty liberal society.

But that's a different fight. India needs to get over it's past glory and move forward with what makes sense NOW. If gender studies and feminism make the people in your country empowered and help them be more successful than they are today, it's the only logical thing to do.

I agree, infact I don’t mind our society becoming more liberal and modernized. I am sure our culture allows acceptance of all people irrespective of their beliefs or ways of living, thoughts, worship etc. The problem I mention by wokism and cancel culture is what is happening in the west. What if teenagers in India start becoming more like LGBTQ suddenly just out of curiosity or even want to change their gender because they have been taught about gender fluid, gender neutral theories and stuff. That is what is wrong about over liberalism.

It’s already happening.

Well the schools aren’t going it. But some schools have pupil who commonly talk about these things with each other.

Have seen many ultra liberal schools

I hope this shit doesn't come to India. Being LGBT is fine, but look in the west, teachers teach transition in classes give kids puberty blockers without parents permission etc this should never happen. This is happening commonly in the west

Then kids to an above-average school you don’t need to worry about that. Send them to a posh high-end school then some way or another it will be taught.

This stupidity has already started in India and you can see it's shades in the offices as well. The main q is - how do you want to protect your children from it (those who want to).

It is already happening in India since majority of employers in private sector are Anglo American corporations.
When you see DEI on their list of values (read: agenda), then it is obvious that they have assumes the role of state in manipulation of public, and all of this disguised as social justice.
