as the app name - its utpoic. far away from reality.
Marriage is something that happens between two families. Either there is a convenience for the family or the bride/groom.
This whole likes/dislikes is just a reason for the person to reject the other. How many women will reject an UPSC officer, or a big industrialist, or a doctor? How many men will reject a beautiful woman?
The concept of apps became successful because the joint family setup completely broke after 1960. With the internet explosion, it became easy for women to filter men , thanks for our skewed gender ratio. And the same apps started failing for many because both men and women wanted to marry only the top 5%/10%. result- everybody is rejecting everybody. To hide the individual fallacies, we come up with various reasons, mutual compatibility, likes, dislikes etc.
No matter how many apps we can come up with , they all will fail as long as the underlying cause is not addressed.. Men and women need to be realistic.
