Tcs

Tcs is an organisation where boomers hire genzs and IMPOSE values which were created when boomers were freshers and of course the salaries are also from that era.

TCS, in my opinion, is stuck in a time warp. It's like a dinosaur in the digital age. They need to modernize their values, work culture, and pay scale. Professionalism isn't about attire, it's about work ethics and performance. Merit, not favoritism, should dictate promotions. But remember, this is just my perspective.

They are not and they never will. You know that now imagine what would be like working in faang but with tcs's so called values they talk about.

Joined this place as a fresher. Though I have immense gratitude for having a job, I feel I ruined my career by joining this shitehole. Out of the last 4 years. I feel I just have experience equivalent to 2 years. Lost the other years due to TCS internal process. I can’t forgive myself for not working hard in life and trying to make a way out of TCS,

I have seen +1000 people on the bench in a particular office. Some of them used to not come to the office. So I don't know the exact count. RMG used to call the employees and shout at them and used to allocate them to the project without their consent also projects not relevant to their skills. I have seen employees on the bench and not coming to the office used to get full salary payments for max 3 months.

People say join TCS you will learn a lot. I agree we might get to learn a lot but what if we ended up getting a project where we just need to do the entries and perform some other activities. And there are lots of other projects you might get. But you will have to get released from your current project but your manager will not get you released. Even if you say you want growth and look forward to building my career. Sorry but you don't get a lot of opportunities to learn. It's just a myth.

TCS rehire policy

My question is from TCS HR and employees: does TCS hire their ex-employees? I have heard that they do not rehire the people who have resigned in the past. I worked with TCS back in 2017; it was my first job right after college. I was the...

Why are 2-3 YOE people calling themselves leader(product leader , engineering leader)?

It takes time to understand and master any domain. You have to do something substantial. Where has the humility gone? Does calling yourself Leader increases chances of getting jobs? It’s mind boggling And shallow.

TCS or Capgemini?

I am a mainframe developer with 10 years experience and have an offer from both TCS (25 lpa) and Capgemini (28 lpa). Which one could be a better choice overall, and not just monetary?
