How're tattoos viewed at workplaces in '23?
I have plans to get a few on my fingers. A good chunk of my job involves meeting people (journo here).
What's your take on the acceptance of tattoos at workplaces and among people in 2023?
Tcs is an organisation where boomers hire genzs and IMPOSE values which were created when boomers were freshers and of course the salaries are also from that era.
TCS, in my opinion, is stuck in a time warp. It's like a dinosaur in the digital age. They need to modernize their values, work culture, and pay scale. Professionalism isn't about attire, it's about work ethics and performance. Merit, not favoritism, should dictate promotions. But remember, this is just my perspective.
Joined this place as a fresher. Though I have immense gratitude for having a job, I feel I ruined my career by joining this shitehole. Out of the last 4 years. I feel I just have experience equivalent to 2 years. Lost the other years due to TCS internal process. I can’t forgive myself for not working hard in life and trying to make a way out of TCS,
Better be late then never. Just work hard. what important is realisation and 4 yrs is too much switch after 3
I have seen +1000 people on the bench in a particular office. Some of them used to not come to the office. So I don't know the exact count. RMG used to call the employees and shout at them and used to allocate them to the project without their consent also projects not relevant to their skills. I have seen employees on the bench and not coming to the office used to get full salary payments for max 3 months.
People say join TCS you will learn a lot. I agree we might get to learn a lot but what if we ended up getting a project where we just need to do the entries and perform some other activities. And there are lots of other projects you might get. But you will have to get released from your current project but your manager will not get you released. Even if you say you want growth and look forward to building my career. Sorry but you don't get a lot of opportunities to learn. It's just a myth.

Hello everyone, I want to ask that ...can tcs hire who have done their 12th as a private candidates ? As they do not allow distance learning from Universities...?
Do not join TCS at the early stage of life with a low salary with expectations that it will grow after a year or two. Promotions are very slow. Also promotions do not depend on your performance, even if you perform outstanding you might...
