Imo, Kitni bhi salary ho Mumbai me if you don't have a place to call house boht salary jayegi . If you want to do an MBA in parallel better get this sorted as a priority.
Once this is in line, everything will be sorted. Otherwise step back , stay in your current company. Unless either one of your company agrees to sponsor .

Remember mumbai is expensive so that 50% hike may not stretch much.
Plus it’s very tiring to travel in Mumbai unless you live near office. Your CAT prep may take a hit if you come home tired everyday
Mumbai wala is wfo, yes Current it is unsure wala wfh. Smj hi nahi ara bilkul kya karu. 50% hile hai smja mumbai mei min 30k rent toh rhega toh jitna hika hua voh toh sab rent mei jaega. But agr cat nahi nikla toh age switch mei itne pe hoga discussion nahi tog current wale pe hi hova
30k rent milega agar door rahoge toh, varna share karna padega 30k mein.
20LPA ke baad IIM se zyada expectations mat rakho. I worked in a team that typically hired from IIM and ISB only. Even IIM A/B/C grads came in with 20-25 LPA. Doesn’t make much sense after putting in 2 years and 40-50L on education. 2-3 years mein aapki salary 30L cross kar sakti hai even without CAT
Agar GMAT crack kar sakte ho toh woh kar lo. Personally mujhe CAT se koi RoI nahi dikh raha.
