Recently started giving interviews and cleared a few rounds in a couple of companies. I never heard back from any of them even if I felt the interviews went well. Very frustrated because of this as I fail to understand how difficult is it to just reject or send a rejection email if they don't want to hire. I understand that companies have 100s of candidates in their pipeline but it's so frustrating to not even get any rejection mail and get stuck in a limbo.

1) Looking to address a couple of issues out there, the first one is regarding job opportunities. I know this might suck a lot in the current market, and many people are looking to get one. I agree. I have been in the pace and got my role from an app, and I can help some folks who are looking for a job now by providing proper mental support, boosting their effort and strength, and providing support as far as I can, and yes, it is charged.

A minimal amount of 0000000 (LinkedIn 6 figure Ghostwriter ) and an endless supply of events in my life and others helping them craft paths in this bad time 

Honestly, taking 3 to 5 people in 0 to 3 years 

2) LinkedIn Sick people who post SS are really pathetic, as I saw one of his men-tee posts getting a lot of attention and offers, and among them was a company and a payroll, which I attended and found toxic, and I messaged him to tell his men-tee not to accept as he had other PBC offers, but the twist turned as he started selling his courses for data architecture, in which I was not interested as I am a non-tech guy and I never needed them, but ended up blocking as he was telling that the VP of xxxx was my student. I do not know why they are desperate to sell shit even if their companies and their loss coders pays better 
 
3) From my last post, I found on the suggestion of many people that people do not prefer groups, and finally, I thought to create a mini group of a maximum of 7 people from Bangalore with the same mindset, starting from the base, plans to have a business,, side income, talks about good food, health, a positive mindset, and friendship.

I gave an interview with a startup which is bootstrapped asked me to complete an assignment..done it near to perfection but now you would be shocked to know that a so-called co-founder blocked my number when I tried to reach for the job position/feedback.
If he doesn't want to hire it's fine but blocking 😂

Hi Grpeviners, I've given so many interviews. Qualified technical rounds for many but have been ghosted several times. Like the HR stops receiving my calls or they say at the end that sorry we want someone to join within 45 days. Sometimes they say, sorry we got some candidate from our organization and list is never ending. I feel very disheartened due to this ongoing scenario. Why is this happening to me, what should I improve in myself? Am I out of budget, notice period? Please help!

Constant rejection, ghosting by HR after qualifying technical rounds

I am a fresher 2023 graduate and have been doing this (applying for jobs) for almost a year, everyone said you have to do internships as it is necessary so did 2 internships one for a year and another for 6 months but apparently no one counts internships as experience even jobs that had 1-3 yoe as requirement and now everyone's hiring 2024 grads as freshers (I tried to look for another internship but there were none during the time of placements).

I am now tired of this field, many full stack devs don't know shit outside Javascript world and many of them can't even use tools like git properly and are so cocky of themselves. 

Saw an SDE on twitter who apparently has 6 years of experience, doesn't even know how to configure multiple SSH and says managing multiple ssh is a downside. A women dev (cause in India you have engineers and female engineers apparently) doesn't know about sidebar cache and calls it a bug and she's in google. and If I try to roast these people with my real name there's a whole cabal of Banglorians who will grab their macbooks inside third wave coffee and start tweeting against me after aggressively drinking their Chocolate mocha frappe.

Just go into any random tech twitter space no one seems to be talking about tech it's always about DSA, interviews, LIFE IN BANGLORE, which cafe they visited.

I let myself believe tech was my passion and worked hard  for but Indian techies and companies are worst, this generation thinks they are better than their predecessor but follow the same politics everywhere even when it comes to Tech communities (who tf does politics in a community that produces open source code wtf).

They talk about networking and creating a community all the time but can't even respond to linkedin cold dm and blame the sender by nitpicking about the format 👏👏 and then they'll go on post the screenshot and rant how it's the sender fault to even try to network with them with a message that isn't written from their own blood.

Bangalore tech scene is weird man. I feel even the auto driver knows how to code and the third wave barista is definitely doing leetcode because that coffee & sandwich clearly don't take 15 minutes to make

Linkedin has become  a place where people post about cracking tech interviews without any tech discussion. Every guy with or without MAANG gives guidance to clear interviews but none of them posts a single stuff about the tech itself.
Cracking tech interviews in India has become hype like JEE.

Recently, I gave an interview at this early startup in Bangalore. It consisted of 5 rounds.
- The first four rounds were technical, design, and assignment rounds which went well. I answered all the questions fairly well and the interviewer was happy knowing the answer.

- The fifth round was with the CEO - Now this was the turning point. He was more concerned about my personal situation. He asked questions like, where I live, where is my hometown, if WFO is okay for me (I was working remotely in my current company ), and where is your dad ( I said he was no more and that turned off the CEO of a company), how will you keep my mother in BLR, why your mom not living with your siblings?. And I was like "WTF man".the only technical question he asked -> "Have you ever hacked a system in your recent days?". 😂😂

After wasting more than 14 hours in the process I received a rejection mail without any feedback.

Message to recruiter - if you are more concerned about the personal situation of the candidate, please conduct a preliminary round for that.

Got rejected because of personal situations.

I was going through the careers portal of this decently funded startup and they had opening for SDE2 Backend and Frontend both. 
But the discrimination they did between FE and BE just got me to nerves.
1. The BE role was just termed as SDE2 whereas FE role was termed as SDE2 - Frontend Engineer, Why?🤷‍♂️
2. Both the roles are of same level but the experience required for FE is 3years whereas for BE, its just 2years. A big Red flag about the culture 🚩 
3. For BE role they haven't wrote anything language specific (which is a good thing as they're language agnostic and focusing on the core instead) But for FE they've filled their JD with languages, frameworks and even fcking libraries.

All this together makes it a very risky bet for anyone looking for a SDE2 - Frontend Role. 
Passing this one and recommend everyone to look for such small red flags 🚩 which tells us alot about company.

How common is it for recruiters to ghost you after multiple rounds of interviews and assessments (over months) by blocking your email so you can't even send follow up emails?

The way I see it - they don't lose much since they have thousands to choose from an applicant pool, but it certainly undermines the effort made my candidates to a huge degree. 

Or is that common courtesy, acknowledgement and in general being decent human seem rathee utopian concepts in this day and age?

Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Hi guys(Mainly HRs), 
              Recently I applied to one SaaS company for the position-Solution Engineer/Implementation engineer, I had 2 rounds and was done with both the rounds. As I was expecting results, I got this mail from the previous round interviewer saying ( See the below/above image).  It sounded very odd and strange to me and frustrating to hear this, I acknowledged it and mailed the interviewer and HR asking to  give any constructive feedback if there were any; Until now they haven't responded back. I feel better now but obviously very disappointed with such a reply, can any one of u from startups/ HRs from start-up Please clarify - Is this the way Start-up rejects candidates or I got unlucky in this situation?

Startups will make you do 10 page recruitment assignment include questions like  gtm strategy ,how to handle multiple scenarios , make you do product demo etc Only for the founder to come and reject you without reading into any of these. What a waste of time and effort
