How is this even legal in india? Reddit openly promotes porn

Reddit's approach to NSFW content raises some serious concerns. From suggesting NSFW posts to turning on permissions for viewing such content, Reddit seems to be pushing the boundaries in a country where porn is banned. Reddit’s system is designed to: - Suggest NSFW content even when it's not requested. - Prompt users to enable permissions for viewing NSFW content. - Display NSFW material in nearly every search result. Given that explicit content is banned in this country, how is Reddit allowed to operate so freely? It seems more like a porn site in disguise than a social platform.

Govt doesn't actually care about it. Also they are incompetent. There should be no leniency on this epidemic. Too many lives have been destroyed by porn and many people and most of the current youth are easily addicted to it. It decreases your physical and mental ability, and also accelerates depression as your brain receptors get fried. You look out for the next shocking thing to have a hit. It's more potent than heroin and is easily available. Most coomers will fanatically justify their crutch the moment you show them the mirror because even they know it but can't stop, or are in delusion that they are not an addict. And health aside, infecting young minds with porn is also a known technique in intelligence circles to cuck a populace and spread propaganda or take control.

Show NFSW content option is disabled by default. If you enable it, then you know what you are doing. Moreover, there is no social media which literally blocks pornographic content, be it Twitter, Instagram or even YouTube, even after claiming to do so.

You can turn it off in main settings. Reddit by default set the setting for show NSFW content off when you create a new account/profile.

It's a setting, just keep it turned off if it bothers you. Reddit pushing NSFW content over others seems like an issue but why do you have a problem with lack of censorship on reddit? Reddit and the internet in general have already been censored a lot over the years and I miss the days when they used to be more free and unmoderated, but of course we can't have good times for long when things start becoming mainstream.

I feel so. Everywhere, online. Instagram, Reddit, Twitter even. Everywhere you go, just women incentivized to show more body. Not that there's anything wrong with that, people should wear what they find comfortable. But I feel as a man, it can be pretty distracting because it's not your original intention to get distracted. And then of course everything the porn industry has created. I wonder if men were like how we are, 100 years ago from now. Did they also get as frequently disturbed? Or was staying focused more easy. Was having a family life also easier because of this? I wonder. Would love to know your thoughts. P.S: I absolutely do not wish to make women feel like what they're doing is wrong. I don't think it is. I'm just sharing my views of what it does to me, as a man.
