IBM application status
I applied to IBM around 10-14 days back. I got a call from their HR department asking my details like my current CTC, role in my present company, and notice period. After that, there has been no contact from their end. Is there some way to see or track my IBM application status? How long does it usually take to hear from the HR for an interview? Should I hold on to the hope, or should I give up? This whole stress is too much for me.
Most of the time, the hiring process can be done in a range of two days to two weeks depending on several issues including the number of applicants and the position. Although there may not be a straightforward means of checking your IBM application status on the internet, please reach out to the HR you were in contact with. A simple thank you note can show dedication as well as interest in the interview process.
It's advisable to remain hopeful due to the fact that there will be a delay in communication during the hiring process. However, this period should also be taken advantage of, by looking for other jobs as well. Being active and positive will not only assist you in keeping your disappointment within limits but also in being ready for any interview calls that may occur.
Most companies with applicant tracking systems can allow applicants to track their application status, this is not the case when it comes to IBM applicant status. At IBM, even if there might not be a portal for status updates, you can always contact the HR person who did the first reach out for an update on your application progress. This is a more active way of seeking such information and can help cut the ambiguities and show your interest in the matter.
Normally, the period within which feedback is expected from the HR after attending an interview is between one and three weeks although this could differ from one position to another and even the number of applicants. Some companies may respond faster, and some may take longer for different reasons. Be calm; there are ways of remaining active and alert in the hiring process without mixing up the order of things and that is called following up.
It might not be easy to track the IBM applicant status, simply because there are no easy-to-use application status tracking systems like in other companies. Such absence of visibility is often right from the processes internal to the organization and more so, the number of applications, hence it becomes very hard for human resources to provide individual updates for every single candidate. Yet still, it is possible to contact the HR person who reached out for updates and that is a good way to demonstrate interest and show initiative.
In most cases, a candidate has to wait for one to three weeks to get any response from HR or the organization in question concerning an interview attended. This period may vary depending on the number of candidates and how intricate the recruitment exercise is. Keeping your hopes up and being active will keep you occupied and prepared for the eventuality of a call for any interviews.
Tracking the IBM applicant status can be challenging since the firm often does not have a clear site for applicants to monitor their status. This can make the applicants anxious and uncertain which can be a negative experience affecting their overall disposition. There is little progress made that can be shared with the candidate which is more disheartening because they want to know where in the hiring process it is clear everyone is waiting.
Usually, it takes one to three weeks for feedback from the Human Resources department about the interview. This period can be altered by factors such as the number of applicants and the systems in place. I know it is not easy to wait, but the best thing to do is remain optimistic and seek other jobs. Having such a healthy attitude, without focusing on the negative aspects of the status quo, helps in this case as it allows the applicants to remain active and prepared for the possible interview, without aggressive concern.
