Recommendations for earphones
Budget no constraint, but should be worth the price. Don't want headphones, feels uncomfortable and too big to carry.

Nothing ear 2 (excellent battery backup and decent bass for music). Have been using it for a year, no complaints so far.
CMF Buds pro 2 is also good if you want something under budget.
Using these as well. Although fitment is not the best, music quality I. Have found to be really good and fairly customizable.
What is the battery backup you are getting. Has it improved from the previous firmware update

If you want something for calls + good enough sound, apple wired earphones are great.
Costs around 2000.
Also, no hassle of connecting to Bluetooth and battery. Plug and play.
If you have iPhone you can even use the volume buttons on mic.
I'm looking for a wireless earphone. Currently I'm using some JBL wired ones which has worked good for me
Oh. Makes sense. I don't have much experience with wireless ones.

I have airpods pro, too bad for calling. Other person is not able to listen anything but background noise. Tried all mode, all ways. Talked to everyone having these, all seem to have the same issue. Not sure how people are recommending that.
If someone knows the best wireless thing for calling, music both - let me know as well
Exactly
Airpods Pro are amazing for me. They have lasted me 3 years and going strong. I like how they sound.
But you go in a slightly noisy place, they just fail at calls.
I'm not sure if other earphones work better in calls tho, since I've not seen anybody use anything else at offices.
I've had the same experience. Absolutely unusable for calls. I've to even turn off the fan to use them for calls.
You can try IEMs. A lot of cheap options (<2k) are available with awesome sound quality. But mic quality will be okayish. You can use it for normal calls and meetings, but people on the other side won't be able to hear ur voice in HD.

Sony XM5’s. I somehow liked it better than AirPods Max despite being deep in the Apple’s ecosystem. Worth the money.
You mean the earbuds or headphones? Bit confused since you compared to airpods max

Yeah, sorry misread the post. The earbuds are equally good too. Great noise cancellation, great features too.
Wired: House of Marley
TWS: Jabra, Apple
Headphones: Sony, Bose

Samsung buds 3 pro, its the latest one but from reviews it looks like not worth the price. Buds 2 pro is much better and u can get a best deal now!

If you want your soundstage to be more spatial and you want distinguishable sounds of different elements. Go for In ear Monitors on headphonezone. I’ve myself bought Japanese final E2000 just for trial and my god these are the best sounding of earphones I’ve ever owned

Duh!!!! Ask no further, look no further, and hear no further - AirPods bro, costed me a well 30k, but bloody worth it, it’s like a bomb 💣 when you put into to your ears, and noise cancellation oh man, don’t ask.

Airpods don't have a very rich sound quality. Wired - Shure. Wireless - Sennheiser, Shure, Sony in that order
How is it? I had buds 2 pro, their battery drained completely within a year. They only work for 10 mins each now
Working good. Battery life is good. Easily last 2 - 3 days or around 6-7 hours of usage. Also the sound quality is really good. I was using budz 2 for last 2 years before moving to buds 3
