Should Private Company Salaries Be Public?
Should salaries of all employees in private companies be made transparent, similar to government structures with fixed brackets? Is it legitimate to expect this level of transparency? Transparency could also foster employee trust, discourage discrimination, and promote equitable compensation practices.
Why not? In US, some states keep it a requirement to disclose the salary bracket for the role. If people here demand for it, I don't see why we cannot have that

Exactly. There is always a chance of biasness in secrecy.
That is a different thing from what OP is asking. The salaries are still confidential everywhere.
You may hire 2 people in the same salary bracket, but one may be on high end and other on low end.
