What’s wrong with our Society? Tragic Loss: Rape and murder of a Dr
The initial autopsy indicated that the victim was murdered after being sexually assaulted. Why people think that they can get away with such heinous crime? Perhaps it’s because of the lack of stricter punishment for such crimes or slow justice system I mean how morally corrupt one has to be to commit such crime? Sometimes I feel we have failed as society especially when we Indians take pride in our culture of respect and dignity towards others. Also, I think man of this country needs better parenting and maybe forced to undertake a specialised course on how to treat opposite gender. Men of this country and maybe worldwide need better education on how to treat a woman and I say this as a man myself. The below image hits hard.
Shut the f up and stop preaching men as soon as these kind of news come up. When a crime is committed talk only about that criminal. U don't have any rights to talk about men as a whole. Women commit crimes everyday too. Are we start preaching to every women how to behave themselves? Maybe the problem is with hardcore simps and feminazis who turn a blind eye when a woman is the criminal and suddenly become active when a man is the criminal.
I can't defend my country anymore. It becomes shithole. No wonder why every other country hates us. Sometimes I think humans should be extinct from this planet. We humans are so selfish that we put even animals inside cages just for our fun. Means what the hell is this.

It's really interesting to note how people (in the comments) start discussing culture/religion when such an incident comes up.
Even more interesting is how people never talk about -
1. The inferior/superior mentality which has plagued the previous generations
2. Social media and other internet stuff which is disrupting the minds of this generation in a really bad way
3. What values can we put in people so that they don't develop a criminal mindset in the first place and value humanity in general (instead of targeted education about a specific group of people)
Only when the current generation views these issues with an open mind can we expect something to improve. I agree that punishments can be stricter and enforcement of laws must really be improved but that's just a medicine to stop the progression of a disease and not the cure.
Valid points. I too think that this is a deeper issue. The discriminatory behavior which has been there in generations also plays a part.
Social media does plays a role but more important is education or parenting. If both done right, I think chances of getting influenced by social media will decrease.
We are in such a mess right now that through punishment we need to strike fear in the mind of criminals. Cure will take time and is a long process, we should start on that. Meanwhile we must focus on preventing too.

Problem 1 :
We teach children about the pride of our country,caste ,religion and the concept of god but not about Morale . Stop defending that a religion teaches the way of life and its enough.
Moral Science /Philosophy should be introduced in schools atleast till 9th std.Atleast at 9th std children should be taught about physical/Psychological changes in that age and controlling sexual urges ans channeling their thoughts towards their studies/career for a brighter future.
Also very importantly Children should be taught the necessity of being a good human and the rewards that come after it.And also the consequences and punishment in life and law when we derail from the path of Morality.
Problem 2 : For adults,
Some forum mentioned about death penalty or severe punishment.Im all in for it.Ill be glad if 100s of aholes are punished that way but what if One innocent man is falsely accused and hanged to death.Also countries with severe punishment still have higher crime rates w.r.t population.
Condemn if your friend thinks of hurting a woman,Stop if your friend wants to play the women's card by falsely accusing an innocent man.
Crime starts at home.Some happens when the criminals sees the opportunity and takes advantage of it in a haste (might regret later)but for some its a habitual thing...they stare at one phase then they harrass and they grope and they rape.
When a criminal is convicted for harassment he has high chances of moving into the next stage of physical abuse.Cos he is not afraid to commit a crime in the first place.
These kinds of criminals should be isolated and monitored through a weekly routine showups at the station.
Also we should label pink zones like Women's PG,Womens College,Maternity Nursing homes(maybe) ,Ladies Gym,Factory/Industries (where mostly women staffs are employed) and patrol should be increased for their safety.

We only talk about something when its trending.Almost all of us are the same.We move on to the next trending song and swipe up and tadaaaa..thats it..😅

The Rape rate of India is 1.81 while UK(27.29) ,USA(27.31),NewZealand(25.85),Germany (9.38) has more rape rates(per 100k population)..
Even if you account to unreported cases per 100k population it would never surpass most of the top European/Western countries.
So stop Blaming the country all the time please and for a developing country interms of woman safety (especially in south India) we are doing good.
I had to mention the North/South divide here cos the highest rape rates in the country are from North India sadly.

First of all when i see this news and see info about the rapist mentioned that he is his psycho about women and he previously beat his wife's also he is alcoholic so why such employees hired for night shift in hospital even for day shifts second if there is working why she was alone why not there other women's and 3rd why hospital background verification not done by govt or recruitment authority and at last why nobody Listen near by till she got raped and murdered is it not unusual CBI should think about it and chase if other persons also got involved in this crime
