I have been a little caught up with numerous things in my life lately and have finally found some free time to open up myself to new experiences. 

I had a wishlist of shows and movies that I wanted to watch but as soon as I start watching them, I get bored and feel like turning it off. 

No, its not the content
No, its not the genre
No, its not the actors
No, its not the taste either

This is pretty ironic as considering the fact that I have spent a fair share of my youth chasing academics and career, my heart had always craved for life experiences. I had to let go of the woman I loved simply because I was too focussed on my JEE. I wont be able to forgive myself for that EVER. It almost felt like I had lost a limb, without which , I would be rendered disfunctional. Thats a separate story tho.

Nothing excites me (yep nothing)
Nothing amuses me 
Nothing feels lively

I have no clue where my life is headed

I understand that as we age, our triggers of happiness change. I have put concious efforts into knowing what those new triggers are. But I cant find any plausible sources of happiness.

I am performing pretty well with my career.
Even got a double digit hike.
But didnt feel that kick of joy.

Have I approached a dead end?

Is it common for someone in mid 20s experience diminishing attention span and mental fatigue? Any advices on how to keep brain active like it was before. (I can literally feel the difference)

Compromise on your sleep

Its simply not worth it

Messes up your mental health , energy levels, social battery, skin quality, digestion, and even hormones to a certain extent (cant vouch for female hormones as I am a guy, but I did feel the hormonal instability once I started neglecting my sleep)

A few days is fine
But the moment you let yourself chronically mess up your sleep cycle under the pretext of productivity, you'll start to realize how fragile the human body is.

Trust me , I have been there and it has been a nightmare to get back on track. I hope you guys never go through what I went through :)

As adults, we have very few avenues of joy anyway,  and sleep I believe is one of them so fall in love with your sound sleep !!!!!!!!!!

3 years back I used to sleep like a dead body 🙂 but now it's been around 3 years I sleep late and even when sleep I m around 40% aware what's happening around me and when have little sleep I have many vivid dreams like blood shed people crying and I m just trying to help them ...and just normal thoughts in head keep striking like fan is moving, I drove bike fast it was nice turn .. just random and simple thoughts.
About lifestyle 
I don't exercise at all already left gym sometimes back.
Sleeps late.
Wake up late because If I sleep at 2 or 3 then waking up at 9 will still feel dizzy, so wake up at 11 and start my day.
And having few bad habits too.
😂 Yeah I can see what I need to work on but my brain is tricking me asking for assurance that it will be better if i work on above issues.
Don't know how to start how to plan how long it will take. 😂😂😂

I started my internship at this startup. Couple of other college students are also here for internship.

And this boy, man!
He is not cute or handsome like those who girls drool over.
He is nice, very caring, cracks these insanely bad PJs that I laugh on

I know I know, I should be focusing on final exams and placements.
Next month, he'll be back to Pune, and I'll be here in Delhi. LDR is stupid 

And this is why I am here. Hi seniors, how does one stop themselves from falling in love?

I’m sure all of us are above average at at least one thing. It could range from making a mean Maggi to playing an instrument to making new friends to flirting to anything else. What’s yours? 

I like researching in depth about financial products and have a good working knowledge of common topics such as tax, mutual funds, insurance. 😊

What’s your superpower?

I allegedly have a photographic memory that amazes and creeps my peers simultaneously.  
  
 Downside? 
 Can't sleep most of time as I have HD recordings of all my regrets and rejects. Ignorance is a bliss.

Like, it has to be more than a 3BHK in a metro, with two kids, a car and a prestigious job at a faceless corporation, 2 weeks of vacation and a movie on the weekend.

Isn’t this weird that, we all continue to fool ourselves? 

When you know nothing matters the universe is yours, and I've never met a universe that was into it. The universe is an animal, it grazes on the ordinary. It creates infinite idiots just to eat them. 

You know? Smart people get a chance to climb on top and take reality for a ride but it'll never stop trying to throw you. And eventually it will, there's no other way off

[Thread] What is according to you makes life worth living?

Remember when you were a kid and had a school trip the next day?    
    
 You sleep all excited, over preparing your bag, snacks, your pocket money and sleep fantasizing the day forward.   
    
 You wake up on the morning. You are excited as hell. Although it's no different than any other day but everything feels colorful. You can't wait to hop into your school bus and meet your friends who are just as excited as you.   
    
 I think what makes life is worth living are these experiences. When you sleep, you have something to look forward to. Someone to do, something to achieve, something you truly enjoy or be passionate about.   
    
 If you are just going through days fixated on the coming weekend or planned holiday. That is when things get a little messy.   
    
 I'm in that zone right now. I try to seek the satisfaction and happiness inside of me. So I don't depend on materialistic or emotional to feel lively. It must come from within and its damn hard to cultivate.   
    
 When I'll have that I'll be off from this corporate for good. .

Desperation for love/need to be loved can make you lower your standards, then you end up with wrong people & get hurt by wrong people because you didn't keep your standards because desperation to get loved was bigger than, 'is this the right person for me?'

I think the current phase in my life is the lowest I am already PIPed by swiggy and I have broken up with my gf.

Feeling like my life has reached the end. Can't sleep at all specially after the break up. Now I regret for blocking her atleast I should have waited until getting into some company. But now I don't want to go to her due to some personal reasons.

It feel sucks. I am not able to focus on interview preparation. I am not in depression but my mental health is shit right now and gets headache daily.
Please help me shall I consult some doctor for this or is this okay. I don't have much friends that's why I am asking here

Sorry to hear what you're going through. It may sound cringe but praying to god helped me during my tough times. 
 Talk to your parents and siblings if you're on good terms. If nothing helps talk to a psychologist. 
 I may get flack for saying this, but right now you have a much bigger problem to deal with, i.e. PIP. Start preparing for interviews during weekends and try to finish your office work diligently.  
  
 As for your relationship, no one here knows how serious you were about it. If both of you hadn't considered making it long term, I would say it's better to keep things the way they are right now. I had a pretty bad breakup few years back, but now when I look back, all I can do is laugh about the fact that,  I was head over heals for such a shitty person. 
  
 It's my suggestion and I might be completely wrong and being a d*ck here. You have to decide what's utmost important to you write now. 
  
 Prioritize your physical and emotional well-being, then your work, and then someone else. Wish you all the best.
