Thoughts on CRED's business model? Sustainable?
What do you guys think about CRED's business model and future prospects? They've raised a ton of funding but still no clear path to profitability. Can they succeed long-term or is it just hype?
Given the current funding winter and companies are now chasing profitability metrics, how is CRED’s future looking given they are more focused on experience and experience and there doesn’t seem to be a big monetisation play and more gimmick.
Need some insights to make a decision for job offer
They are focusing on profitability, lmao. I think they are smoking some good hopium.
Almost thought cred had a public layoff as u added in layoffs topic 😵
+1, need to make decision on job offer from CRED, want to know the insights on their economic and financial.
Don't want to be in trap of layoffs after joining @ElderWand anything you got on it?
Don't join. You would be better off joining Bajaj finance or HDFC. Cred's business model is shady.
Heard they are shutting down everything and only focusing on lending. Only a few months of runway left.
They are doing what every other app is doing, giving out personal loans at 18% interest rates. Using p2p lending. As someone who has worked in this space, the default rates are very high. The data against all these personal loans will come out in the next quarter and all these shittty no goal fintech startups chasing profitability will fall like a house of cards.

Asking to check whether there are any cons of joining CRED, if there is a good offer.
Cred is truly a topic of surprise for me. Yes, I understand it has created a community of top spenders/credit worthy people in India. I also understand that they can use the information on such people for creating value for themselves.

It is doomed. If they layoff I hope they fire the UI/UX design first for such an atrocious app design
