Is it wise to resign from current job without any job offer in this market?

Hey guys, I am leaving this crap company and there is a 3 months notice, I have already served 6 weeks and till now the manager has not accepted my resignation.

I resigned without any offer and he said why do you need acceptance if you don't have offer.

He first said that he will relieve me early and that's why he didn't accept, because if he does then he won't be able to relieve me early.

But today he told me that it's not possible for him to relieve me early and I asked him to accept the resignation again. He said that they accept resignation on the last week and I won't be able to take any holiday if I accept the resignation.

I think he's full of sh*t, I'm scared that he may try to increase my notice if something happens, that's why he's not accepting, I don't know if he can legally do that.

Do I need to give any explanation as to why I need him to accept it, I don't trust this a**hole one bit. I need him to accept it, how do I do it and can he say no I won't accept.

Now my manager is asking me in appraisal discussion to resign from the company otherwise HR will terminate me.they orally gave me poor ratings but not updated in my work day. So I guess I hit the mid-life career crisis and finally resigned from Microsoft abruptly yesterday. 

Reasons for resignation:
1. I am saturated with my work and feel out of fuel now.
2. No Pay Raise or Stocks since 2 years.
3. No Promo in last 2 years even after being a top performer and winning multiple awards and accolades.
4. Was promised by my manager that I will be promoted in Feb but now he/she quotes budget.

What my manager says:
1. You have a valid L1B, don't resign.
2. Says you will get the promo in September but now it is not possible.

Please Note: I resigned abruptly without any offers in hand. I guess managers think that folks who have L1B won't resign so their promo can be delayed.

I've served the whole notice period of 45 days and on the very last day, manager says that I didn't complete my work and wouldn't be accepting my resignation. It's already been a week since I joined my new firm and they're asking for the resignation acceptance mail/proof. All my email, slack accesses have been revoked from the previous company and manager is still reluctant to let me go in peace. New company has agreed to enter the joining date accordingly in the system once I get the resignation acceptance to avoid any dual employment conflict. Could anybody help me with the legality of this and how I can proceed?

I'm planning to resign on Friday on my weekly 1:1 with my manager. I have a 1:1 with my director, which is on Wednesday should I say something to my director?  I feel like is not his job, once I tell my manager he'll get the news shortly but feel weird to have the meeting with him like nothing and quit the next day.  Also, is it fine to tell my manager about my resignation verbally and after that send the letter?

I'll be quitting a week from now and wanted to know proper etiquettes while resigning in a remote job. Do you directly apply for resignation on your HR portal or hit up your supervisor first. If you do hit him up, do you drop in a message or directly call him over the phone saying you'll be leaving?

resigned a week ago. My manager was okay with it, as I had already accepted another position. I didn't tell her this. But she was like, okay, I'll talk to my manager to figure out your replacement and last date.

It's been a week since. Haven't received any confirmation. My new job starts in 2 weeks. My manager says she doesn't know as she herself forwarded the request to her boss. She says it should be done by this week but my anxiety is through the roof. What should I do?

I have been suffering from work related anxiety for the last 3-4 months. I have recently started taking medications for it. I am supposed to move to Bengaluru as my wfh has ended. My parents think it's a good idea as it will help change my environment. I am wondering if it's a good idea to share about it at my workplace with my manager/superior. 1. Org has no clear set of rules/policies, but I heard notice period is usually 1 month. My joining date is 1.5 months from now. 

2. Team is in a chaotic state. 1-2 folks were fired, no replacements have been hired. 1 person is on a sabbatical. Worried manager won't take news positively.
