I received offer letter from a company which was not even giving me offer letter before but just a offer mail that too just 1 day before DOJ. After calling them and demanding an offer letter, I received it and in the offer letter there is no CTC breakup amd no signature of the approver present but just the name. Has it ever happened with anyone? What will you do? 
HR kept gaslighting me and telling me that it's perfectly valid and legal which I know for a fact is not legal since there is no signature present.

This could be a rookie question, but what exactly are the implications of accepting the official offer letter and then not joining the company? Any legal issues can come? 

If not, then what's the point of all those formalities- these guys even capture the IP address, signature etc when the offer is accepted. 
Why all that fuss?

Also, when exactly does an individual become an actual employee of a company? I mean, at what point of the on boarding procedure do I legally become an employee?

Hi all, 

I received an offer from a company and signed an offer letter which stated that I have to pay them waiting period money if I'm not joining them. Now I've got a better offer from another organisation. Will there be any legal repercussions if I don't join them. I feel bad they have actually waited for me for 3 months but the company is very small and scared of job security. I got interviewed with one of the Analytics based company in May month and got an offer via mail and salary breakup attached. I accepted the offer as the HR suggested to put my papers and he will provide the offer letter on June end(as my notice period was 90 days).
But now when I'm asking for offer letter he is giving one or other reasons like we are not able to the stakeholder to take the approval as he is in client location.

Recently I cracked Oracle, however, I want to explore more opportunities. I am applying to jobs but not getting any reverts from other employers. Reason being I think I am getting low balled on offer. After trying and applying to about 100 jobs and getting rejected few silly things coming to ky mind like below - 
I was thinking to post on my linkedin that I cracked Oracle interview so that people notice me (Not sure if its a good move as of now).
