Need advice

There's a clause in my offer letter mentioning I won't be paid for the entirety of my notice period until my exit date. Unfortunately due to problems in my previous company, I didn't go through that section properly and agreed to it. I wanted to ask if it's legal first and if not, what options do I have?

Hi all, I received an offer from a company and signed an offer letter which stated that I have to pay them waiting period money if I'm not joining them. Now I've got a better offer from another organisation. Will there be any legal repercussions if I don't join them. I feel bad they have actually waited for me for 3 months but the company is very small and scared of job security. What can I do in this situation.

I have recently joined in an organization which is an Inc 2 days back. But today I got offer from good MNc company which has started interview process before receiving any offer . I want join in this MNc now how can I proceed in leaving current inc which joined 2 days back. Hey folks, I'm currently working for a US client and I am 100% billable to them if that information matters. According to the offer letter, the notice period is of 90 days but there's a buyback option where one can choose to pay and not serve the notice period. But from what I've heard, it's up to Capgemini to accept that buyback offer or not. So I've recently received an offer from a Singapore based startup and I told them that I can join in 30 days cuz if I hadn't, they wouldn't have even interviewed me in the first place. They're okay with buying back my 1 month and let me serve 30 days but I'm concerned what if Capgemini refuses to let me leave. What are my options here? Can I tell them that I'm leaving company due to some personal/health issues so I can get an early release. Do I need to involve a lawyer? Thoughts please. Thanks.

Hello, So this is the first time that I am leaving a job because I have an offer in hand. The offer letter has a joining 2 months from now because my current notice period is 2 months. I am worried that if I sign it now and then go resign, my current company might create issues and say that due to some delay or something, my last working day will be a bit later than exactly 2 months and I won't be able to join the new company on the agreed upon date. But I also don't want to resign before I have signed the new offer, so that the new offer is confirmed. Do you have any advice for me?

I recently received a counter offer from one of the big 4 company.. I had initially decided not to join. I am reconsidering my decision and would appreciate your advice on the potential consequences. Specifically, I am concerned about the risk of being blacklisted or facing negative if I choose not to join the company even after accepting their counter offer. Is there a possibility of affecting my future opportunities with the same company? Do they black list for rejecting their counter offer?
