I have been trying hard to switch but not getting any calls for an interview.
I am suspecting now that maybe this 3 month notice period is slowing down the process.

So my ask is should I resign and then try to find job, so that other company see potential in my profile because I can join early?

I am working in Infosys and I have 90 days notice period.
I have been applying from the past 2 years but haven't got any calls and interview scheduled forget about rejections.I could landed 2 interviews only.
Is it happening because I fill 90 days notice period while applying?
What should I do?
I can't take risk of resign because of financial issues right now.
Please drop your suggestions.

Hello everyone! I have 8 years of experience as a software QA and am currently looking for job opportunities outside my company. I’ve been applying to jobs regularly on platforms like Naukri and LinkedIn, but unfortunately, I haven’t received any responses yet. I believe this might be due to my 90-day notice period. 🤔

I’m considering resigning without having another offer in hand. What are your thoughts on this? Is it a good idea?

Currently working as a Cybersecurity Analyst, the project is more like a Technical Support Role. Have to connect with the user and troubleshooting in their laptop if issue required. Here I have to work in 3 different shifts like for morning 5.30 am or from night 9pm to 6.30 am or at afternoon from 2pm and it's changing weekly. And also have to report to the office now in those timings. 
I want to change the domain to different role like backend or frontend or in the same domain I want to switch to a different company.
Is it good to resign without having any other selection ( I am good to sit without any company for 2-3 months)?

If I resign and will sit for 3-4 months without working in any company, does the next company which I will apply for interviews or openings, will not allow me to sit in their interviews? Or would not go with my resume?
And what could else I have to face .

I come from a good college (tier 2) with very good placements but because of mental health reasons ( I was severely struggling) i had to skip placements. After being unemployed for 4 months after graduation my family forced me into taking a job I never wanted. Very low pay, extremely toxic work culture and insane work hours. I don't even have energy or time left to prepare for interviews or even apply to other jobs. This job is slowly pushing me back into depression. And it even hurts to see that all my friends are earning 17+LPA base + stocks and other benefits, while I can't even get a 15CTC job. I feel my career is over and see no hopes for my future. Should I quit so I can atleast prepare for a better job? Any advice is appreciated.

I've been working with this MNC for over three years now, primarily working on one project since the beginning. Lately, I've been feeling like my growth has plateaued, and the work has become quite monotonous. My manager has mentioned that exciting new development tasks would be coming my way soon, but unfortunately, these opportunities haven’t materialized for over a year now.

I'm at a crossroads and unsure of the best course of action. Should I consider resigning to actively pursue new opportunities, because preparing for interviews while working and managing a 90-day notice period might be challenging? Or should I continue on with the current project while simultaneously exploring new job options?

I'd really appreciate your insights and any advice on how to navigate this situation.

I've been working as a React developer for almost 3 years (2 years, 9 months) plus had a 3-month internship. I'm looking to make a career move to a company that offers better mentorship and growth opportunities, but my current job requires a 3-month notice period before leaving. 

I'm struggling with a few aspects of navigating this job change given the long notice period:

1) Finding Companies Open to Waiting
How do I identify companies that would be willing to wait the full 3 months for me to start after giving notice? When and how should I bring up the notice period requirements during the application/interview process?

2) Getting Referrals
My professional network is somewhat limited. What are the best ways to try securing internal referrals to companies I'm interested in, which could help increase flexibility around waiting for my start date?

3) Preparing for Interviews  
Besides the standard technical preparation, what is the best way to practice for and respond to questions about my reasons for leaving my current role after such a long tenure? How can I reassure them I'm committed despite the extended notice period?

4) Evaluating Offers
If a company is unwilling to wait the full 3 months, is it worth trying to negotiate a shorter notice period or looking at temporary/contracting roles until I can start full-time? How do I evaluate whether the role is worth that hassle?

I want to be as prepared as possible for this transition, so any advice or suggestions from folks who have gone through a job change with a long notice period would be greatly appreciated! Let me know what you think or if you have any other tips.

Hi all, It’s been more than 4 years in TCS. I have been trying to switch for last 6 months. Received some calls from HRs but as soon as they hear TCS and NOT ON NOTICE PERIOD, their response immediately changes. They will tell you that they will share interview details but they won’t.
I have also tried lying about notice period with different different excuse but still they would not believe it.
Now i am thinking about putting in my papers and continue looking. Maybe reducing the notice period will help but it looks a big risk in current scenario.
