Congrats everyone!
We have done it. We contribute more to the country in taxes than corporates. Letโs celebrate this historic and absolutely patriotic moment in our broken dreams, in our rented homes, in our over taxed cars, in our pond sized potholes, in our over priced healthcare, in our price gouging education, in our humiliating public & pvt infra, in our barely present desire to live, Pride yourself in what you have achieved and shut your mouth about any criticism you have, for thatโs not what you are here for.
My blood boils whenever politicians talk about giving freebies for votes. That's my tax money

Pl pay your advance tax before sep 15. We need to pay struggling farmers, freebies, and poor babu pension which will be inflation indexed, and if they are dead then to thier wife.
It is their sacrifices that got us jobs

If only we had a tax payer's union. It could be powerful enough to influence policies in favour of tax payers

3% people most of whom are overworked, live in cities, don't have any free time and are generally not very healthy either AND live away from homes so don't even vote.
Yeah, that union will do a lot of stuff.

Modiji war rukwa sakte hai.. to Tax ki kya baat hai..
He meant Ache din* (with an asterik)
*For Ambani , Adani and Politicians.
Honest tax payer is never their priority.
Would love to see this outrage when freebies are given to people from our tax money. Collecting tax is not an Issue, but not utilizing that tax money for the betterment of the society is.

Relax guys , bheem bheem karo pet bhar jayega iss Desh m
Also Remember that BCCI pays zero tax even after billions in revenue when we pay 30% if income is above 15 L.
If you get a chance to leave this country then don't miss it. No point of living in a country where taxes are collected like the UK and services provided like Somalia.
Are any services provided for free?
To use the road we need to pay road tax/toll.
To use public transport we have to buy tickets.
For medical checkup govt hospitals don't have all the facilities.
All Govt schools are the same as it was 20 yrs back see where pvt schools have reached.
If u are staying in a 100 yrs old home u still have to pay property tax every year.
Many things like this...

Once wealth tax comes into the picture, it would almost become a triple tax regime ๐

The tax you would pay would go higher if you consider GST, VAT and excise. For individuals, it will be over 50%.
Companies can avail input tax credit and eventually only end consumer pays.

Old news but ๐ yeah
Damn true
Corporates even producing less jobs
Where as those 2% tax payers including me driving 8 core industries also
If we stop consuming a lot of house, car, Zomato then economy will go into deflation
Already happening have u seen the news on huge car inventory pileup.. unusable road . Crazy road tax and income tax .. why would get a shiny car every few years..
If you compare the percentages of tax rates, we have them lower.
US might even increase further if Kamala wins, she said she will put a LTCG of 45% vs 12.5% in India :)
At this rate we should declare Nirmala Tai as our dependant and claim senior citizen tax deduction
and I get very agitated when I see police officers, govt officials don't even treat us like people. we need to keep pleading and visiting for even a small work else we need to bribe. am just sick and tired of paying immense taxes where I get nothing, basic water, air roads seems like a privilege we don't deserve.
Such high taxes, and when you live in Bangalore, you don't even get water most of the time. ๐ฅบ My point isn't about just one city, but across India, something or the other is a problem. The roads, electricity etc. Such a pathetic condition India is in right now. And Nirmala Tai, she's the biggest hater amongst the middle class, in an interview she said "the so-called middle class".. literally, the "so called"?? Because of these "so called" only, the government is getting money. But still no acknowledgement.
In a true democracy, public should get to vote for every decision taken by the government, instead of just electing people who do nothing for the public.
What we have right now is nothing short of dictatorship. A good dictator is much better than a bad democracy.
