Legit announced it on "Womens Day", it is equating.
Also why are women getting kitchen discounts?
I agree, Millions of women should avail it. No point losing on discounts, whatever saves a few pennies

there are women living:
1. outside tier1/2 cities
2. outside social media apps
3. outside the bubble we live in
they mostly do "stay in the kitchen"....providing for their family
this move by govt has nothing to with women empowerment, its targeting a specific sector of the society and those women will be very happy to hear this news

Modiji literally said the word

And yes women stay in kitchen but they shouldn’t be made to. Just give out a 100 discount on any other day and no one will bat an eye.
Just the marketing team gone wrong here
What is your English grammatical understanding of "equating women to household items"?
Acc to me, it means when someone says a woman IS a household item. Maybe consider correcting the title?

If it's truly about women's day then a better initiative would've been reducing the price of sanitary pads, tampons and menstrual cups because that would help more since many women still don't have access to them

IMO, it's political since the general elections are around. Period.
If you look at an average Indian household, the husband is the sole bread winner and every month, he gives a fixed amount of money to his wife to maintain the household. She'll have to adjust everything in the family budget, and this 100 rupees, no matter how small or large reduces some burden. Again, I don't support it either as I already called it a political PR.
PS: I'm neutral to political affiliations, but would any day prefer Modi to Rahul. I mean, look at his speech on GenAI😂
Wow woke shyt woman. Move it. It's meant for real ones.
Pretty stupid as well apart from being entitled.
Nice MeMe...
Such MeMe brings vote for NaMo.
PS - Women vote more than men.
Cooking is a survival skill. So all gas cylinder book holders must get a discount. Doesnt have anything to do with a gender.

My point 💯
What the hell is even gift on women's day. And cylinder discount? On a side note, even men get happy when things are made cheaper. Like me 🙃. Now please give discounts on petrol also on happiness day.
Will you also say this when bus rides are made free for women ?
They are equating them to what exactly?
You have to live the life of most under privileged to understand the value of Rs 100. Whether you acknowledge or not most decisions and the budget of the kitchen is still controlled by women in India. That Rs 100 is a saving for them. Not that hard to understand but no one can help if you are blinded by the political agendas.
But again it is not good for country like the other party rewadis, and discourages working and taxpayer class.
