🤣 Equating Women to Household items and calling it empowerment

This might be controversial but i want to know just why so many benefits for women in tech ? , I saw special hackathons only for women and also special trainings from big companies like Amazon only for women and of course diversity hiring. Is it because men can't work enough and women do more or what ?

Just a random thought, sometime I've observed professional women are hypocrite or not clear what they want: (Please note these are observation i had sometimes, so I'm not generalizing women. Also, there is societal hypocricy. Please don't bash me. There are cases with men hypocricy also, but I'm just giving my perspective on women hypocricy. I don'tsupport men hypocricy, that's why i do support my womrn colleagues at work in any difficult situation(if work is late night, stressed situation, or discussikn in a board where all members are straightforward men) and also household work(cleaning, arrangement, shopping. No child right now. (saying because some would try to bash me out).) At work: a. They want equal treatment, if due to poor performance, if you yell them in loud voice, they will cite all gender topics from PoSH. b. If they don't know something, you can't make them do it and you have to learn(if you also don't know) and do it. Also, if you rry to act smart, they will straight away complain. c. If you don't know, and if they know it, they'll touch your male ego or just provide little information. d. For poor performance, women have all sorts of excuses in front of male senior, but a man is never allowed to bring family issues in work in front of female senior. e. A business decision if a woman has to take, and if it goes wrong, she finds multiple loopholes to divert attention, but if a man business decision fails, there is havoc on man. At home: a. They'll cite equality in work, and always want to settle with man with income above then her only. b. If you've all servants for all households tasks and you take care of house works too, still she'll cite superiority. And if you try to cite superiority, she will complains to inlaws and then it's again a family discussion.

I see a lot of girls today have this condition of not staying with in-laws after marriage. I want to know the opinion of both genders on this. As I myself don’t understand what difference it makes. 🫠

I find it curious at least that in my undergrad batch, out of all the people who went to abroad 80% of them were women. What factors would contribute to that?

- Already empowered women who take undue advantage and enjoy benefits of being born as a woman. - Pseudo feminists who claim to champion the so-called issues of women. - Undeserving women who hold high positions in their organizations by virtue of diversity quota surpassing ‘deserving men’. - Married women that gain mileage at work by weaving false narratives of being tortured by their in-laws. - Women that indulge in gossip at work to show a bad light of their male colleagues.

Everything has been bought by parents EVERYTHING My mom would always make sure she or dad paid, saying you can keep your money for yourself (which I initially thought was very sweet) Now I see how I am dependent on them for all What ever I have bought can be put into a polythene bag and that's all my life (I generally spend on food and stuff that goes away) I have bought certain items for family or the house, but that isn't mine obviously I need to get out of the house, my mental health is at the edge

I understand that most of the tech community is men, and probably in this community as well. But some of y'all just make me lose hope, in seeing how pathetic your thought processes are. Women don't need to work cause India's GDP doesn't demand so? Excuse me? Have you heard of financial independence. Some of us want that. The next thing is diversity hiring. Diversity hiring is needed because of regressive thought processes like these that discourage and inhibit the progress of women in the workplace. Women in general, have to go through a lot more in comparison to men in life. Consider an example: You are a guy going to university, you mom does everything for you, you have enough time to study and do everything you want, go out with friends. Now another girl in your class might be expected to do housework, along with studies. If she doesn't score well she is threatened to be married off. As a result she only has so much time to study and not do extra curricular activities, while the guy can do all of that just because of the privilege of being male. This is why the bar of entry is lowered, so that women who are struggling in life, fighting their way through these odds can progess in life. Even if women who don't have these situations benefit, even if it benefits one person, makes their life better. How does it even bother you? Instead you want to make thier lives hell by shitting on them as diversity hire. Please learn empathy. Learn to respect and understand the struggles of others, regardless of their gender. Also acknowledge that as a male you have more privileges than women, because we are in a patriarchal society, which is why women need a helping hand sometimes.

Minimum wage in India is 200 Rs per day, so these women cannot be earning 4000 a day. This means 1.2L a month. Is it only a bullshit PR campaign masquerading as a Social initiate or is there really something to it?
