I am an AWS cloud developer with a python background. Just wanted to know if it is safe to resign from an existing company without having any offer letter in hand ?
I get calls for an interview but as my notice period is of 90 days so most of the company rejects me due to such a long notice period.

Please let me know if it will be a good idea to resign without an offer letter.

I’ve been applying to jobs regularly on platforms like Naukri and LinkedIn, but unfortunately, I haven’t received any responses yet. I believe this might be due to my 90-day notice period. 🤔

I am working in Infosys and I have 90 days notice period.
I have been applying from the past 2 years but haven't got any calls and interview scheduled forget about rejections.I could landed 2 interviews only.
Is it happening because I fill 90 days notice period while applying?
What should I do?
I can't take risk of resign because of financial issues right now.
Please drop your suggestions.

I am currently working at a startup where I need to serve a 90 day notice period. I am applying to various companies but after the initial screening they are ghosting me(I guess mainly because of np). Should I quit and apply. I am worried, what if I am not able to get jobs after 90 days. I have more than 2 years of experience. I don't have any financial dependency.
In my current organisation for the past few months, I don't have enough work to do, that's why I'm looking for the switch.


Also, If anyone is Hiring for any role in software development, plz refer me.
Current Tech stack:
Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery

I recently got an offer and the notice period over there is 60 days. In my past companies it was 30 days everywhere. Just wanted to know your opinion.

Is the 60 days notice period too much?

Currently working as SDE-2 at Amazon, promoted some 1 year back.

I'm totally burned out from work pressure, oncalls, layoff and performance review cycles every 3 months. Thinking of resigning without any offer by June/July.

Will this be the right decision in today's market.
I'll take some 2-3 months rest and start job hunting again, hopefully in better wlb companies.

Just want to enjoy, travel to new places and prioritise my health.
Balding and weight gain are major issues, and i don't think conditions will be improving in Amazon soon.

BUT, the job market is tough, and IDK how it will impact my career

Currently working as a Cybersecurity Analyst, the project is more like a Technical Support Role. Have to connect with the user and troubleshooting in their laptop if issue required. Here I have to work in 3 different shifts like for morning 5.30 am or from night 9pm to 6.30 am or at afternoon from 2pm and it's changing weekly. And also have to report to the office now in those timings. 
I want to change the domain to different role like backend or frontend or in the same domain I want to switch to a different company.
Is it good to resign without having any other selection ( I am good to sit without any company for 2-3 months)?

If I resign and will sit for 3-4 months without working in any company, does the next company which I will apply for interviews or openings, will not allow me to sit in their interviews? Or would not go with my resume?
And what could else I have to face .

I am currently serving my notice period (90 days). Had decided earlier to quit and then look for a role so that I can job hunt in relative peace without worrying about job performance (high impact and demanding role). Was interviewing with a bunch of startup’s and almost every hiring manager and HR asked about why are you quitting without an offer? Same people when I was interviewing while working were concerned about the 90 day notice. 

Is this considered as a concerning behaviour? Or just a negotiation tactic. 

Also, what is a correct response to this question in your opinion? The truth seems incredulous to these folks.

Can you guys please list down name of companies which accept 90 days notice. I know there won't be a lot but I need at least one offer to resign. 

I haven't received any callback so far and I suspect this could be because 90 days notice ( I put 60 usually but no luck there too). Once I go on notice with one offer I can get more I think. 

P.S. My resume might also be the issue (obviously 😂). If anyone can help me with resume review I'll be highly grateful. (Coffee on me if you are in Pune).
