Don't belong to the society and why me?
Anybody ever felt, they don't belong to the society and don't like the rules - like religious beliefs, politics, marriage , friendship ? Then keep beating yourself for being flawed and not being able to fit in to the society.
We exist ๐๐, Been waiting for a long time to find someone like me. FINALLY ๐๐
That is just how introverts feel many times. All introverts feel like that at some or many points of time in their lives.

Maybe you belong to a different society - where the beliefs around politics, religion, marriage, and friendships are different and more to your liking.
Maybe you just got born in the wrong country ๐
I feel that way a lot of times, have been ignorant of most of the stuff people of my age are into, now as I'm aging anxiety is eating me up.

I have felt it a few times about in the first 2 years of my college and the again last year. I have always found myself going down the rabbit hole of thoughts, questions and possible answers to find the thing that always resonates with me :
I DON'T BELONG TO SOCIETY. THE SOCIETY BELONGS TO ME.
Don't read this with a tone of arrogance or ownership.
When I say Society belongs to me, I mean that I like to see the society as a huge knowledge and experience pool. I take from it what I like and give back what I want.
There are definitely societal norms , traditions and whatnot which you are expected to follow, but the thing is, you are EXPECTED. Its not mandatory to meet those expectations.
Being a guy, I am expected to be interested in watching some sports - I am not
Being a guy, I am expected to be interested in playing FIFA on PS - I am not
Fitting in just makes you a statistic. Being yourself and standing out makes you a person.
