I need some understanding about this as it is my first job. My lwd is Aug 22 but the FnF date given was September 30 . 
why is it not Aug 30? My salary cycle is 15 to 15.

There's a clause in my offer letter mentioning I won't be paid for the entirety of my notice period until my exit date. Unfortunately due to problems in my previous company, I didn't go through that section properly and agreed to it. I wanted to ask if it's legal first and if not, what options do I have?

I switched recently from Quantiphi. This was my first switch. It has been more than two months now. And I've still not cleared the FnF with them.


My calculations show that I've to return around net 1.5 lacs ruppees of my prorated Bonus to Quantiphi as part of FnF. So I've not been pushing for FnF and nor Quantiphi has communicated anything about it.


They have given me separation letter. So I'm confused weather I should ask for FnF or not?

If I do not what are the issues I can face in future?

Hi its been 45 days company hasn’t paid me for the last 40 days, today I completed 45 days and now they are stating that FnF closure is 45 working days so you can expect 60 days. 

They haven’t sent me any calculation as well but all I got to know is they f you up in fnf. 

Any legal action which can be taken or the FnF contract is 45 working days? While the document said “within 45 days of reliving”

So I just completed my notice period and everyone else's payroll has been processed but the HR is saying that FnF will take 45 days as it is company policy and is pretty standard.

But this wasn't told to me when I joined nor is it mentioned anywhere.

When I showed her the employee agreement and The Wages Act - 2 day fnf rule, and asked her to "...please update me on this today itself", she asked me to stop ordering her and being unprofessional and to only reach out to her via email. 

I reached out via call because when I texted her on slack about the payroll, she ignored it and then I texted on WhatsApp and she herself called me.

Is this normal? What should I do?

Hello good folks of grapevine!

So, I resigned from my last job last year in November. As per the company policy I was promised that my F&F will be settled 45 days after my last working day which happens to be the first week of Jan'24.

For some reason the signed documents got delayed from my end by 10 days. It's been more than one and a half months now and my F&F is still not credited. I keep calling the HR and that bitch literally gives me the same shit over and over again that "the signature from the CFO is pending".

I'm really confused about what to do. Is posting on LinkedIn a good idea or will it affect my career? The amount is significant, hence I don't want to risk it. 

In case there is a legal procedure to this, what are the next steps? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, before joining my current company I had joined a start up and resigned within 20 days they have created a PF account and DOE is less than 10 day of what they have mentioned in the relieving letter, will this cause any issue in background verification?

My employment was terminated last month from the organization’s side but they have put things like “his performance was average” & “he left the organization in his own accord” in the relieving cum experience letter. 

I am not much worried about the performance part because I have good experience letters from my past organizations and believe would be the same in case of reference checks.  Should I be worried about these?

Any suggestions on how to move forward with future applications would be helpful.

🔒 Credentials revoked, told client issues. New guy in team, no intro, he got my creds.

📊 Reporting shifted to HR, no work assigned, sensed possible layoff.

🚫 No communication, red flag, forced office visit despite injury.

💰 Salary received, PF deducted, no passbook data, doubtful deposit.

🔄 Y offered better opportunity, hid X on resume, got and accepted offer.

❓ Should I have told Y about X? Concerned:
1. Tell now, they may understand or revoke.
2. Keep quiet, can they find out later via background check?

🤷‍♂️ Policies differ, but it's about people, not policies—understand or do shit.

Trying to access what paths typically a company takes when an employee doesn’t return joining bonus after they resign within one year of joining. What are some some worst cases? Can they do a court cases? What happens in those scenarios. 
Basically had to leave the company due to weird company culture and frequent change in the roles.

A friend of mine left a small startup (less than 10 people) because they were paying him peanuts inspite of high workload (9am to 11pm, remote work) and were not willing to give any raise (they were paying him less than 50k per month after working for them for 6 years).

They often used the carrot dangling tactics where they would promise him and the others for "bright future ahead", which would eventually fizzle out to nothing but excuses.

Now that he has left, they are not clearing his FnF settlement of last 2 month's salary but are asking him to return his laptop. They are saying that they don't have any money and the current clients are not paying anything, and they can only pay when the clients pay them.

Can they take any action if he decides to not return the laptop till his FnF settlement is cleared ?

PS: the laptop is clean, no monitoring software installed. It had been completely formatted before being given to him. So it's as good as a personal laptop.

My brother works at a telecom company in Bangalore and has resigned on Apr 1. However, the company is refusing to pay him for 15 days of work saying he worked from home.

In reality, he was only supposed to wfo for 6 days of those 15 days. He has been incorrectly marked absent. He has suggested that they can cut 6 days of his salary if they wish to, but not for the remaining 9 days.

Additionally, an ex-employee said that the company will delay his FnF amount and relieving letter for 2 months. 

He relies on this monthly income for expenses, and a delay can cause financial stress. Plus, his future employer may have issues in hiring if he is not able to produce a letter.

Need help in deciding what he can do to ensure he gets his pay and letter on time.

Hi Guys,

I’ve a very major issue here.

It’s been 60 days i left the organisation but till today No HR/TL/Manager are responding for my email for my FnF settlement. I’ve dropped an email to “Payrolls team” they said “HR operations checklist is pending” 
 
So i’ve tried all the possibilities to check but nobody is ready to respond to me at all.
 
Do you have any idea to whom i should be send an email. So my issue would resolve on priority?
