Have more than 5 years of experience working for a consulting MNC, a SaaS startup and a medium-sized consulting company.

Over the years have gotten the opportunity to work as a frontend engineer(angular, react), a fullstack engineer(java, javascript/typescript, python) and currently a data engineer(pyspark/databricks, azure, gcp).

My life at Razorpay is pretty comfortable at least for most of the days. And I know job at this new company would definitely be more demanding than the current one. I recently got offer from an early stage startup in banglore. They raised a total funding of $5.19M over 2 rounds.

My offer is 13 LPA + 1 lakh retention bonus
5k per month for commute and health insurance

I have past experience of 2 years working with 2 startups and building apps from scratch for them.

Honestly I'm really confused about this offer, it is for sure better than my previous offer but I'm not feeling satisfied.

Any suggestions guys?

Hi everyone recently got job offer. And here is the what I'm getting.
Is it good.

Job role : SDE1
Tech stack : Nodejs, React, AWS, DevOps
CCTC: 6.5 all fixed 

Offer CTC : 8 fixed + 4 L ESOP + 1 to 1.5 performance bonus

Is it worth it.

I will be getting another offer 8.5 fixed.

How to negotiate for that.

It's is first switch and I was laid off in Feb.
I'm moderately good at problem solving and have LC : 1600+
CF : 1450+

Please share your view.
I'm really open for suggestions.

I received an offer with average pay but from a good, growing startup. The role is exactly what I want, and the team consists of very good, brilliant people from Tier 1 and 2 institutes, while I am a Tier 3 institute student. Considering the current market situation and the fact that I don't have any prior internship or work experience, I got the offer based on my technical skills. What should I do? Should I go for it? The on-campus placement companies are nowhere near as good as this one.

Got an offer from a top-tier startup—should I take the leap?

I am currently working in a startup which pays 38lpa base and no stocks, no EPF. Plus point is complete work from home. So i accepted it. 
But then I am thinking if I was low balled, as I have 6 years experience including 2 other MAANG level companies i worked with (not exactly MAANG but nearby)
My previous compensation was 28 base and stocks of 7 lakh per year.
I didn't had any competing offer so accepted it.
I am planning to study DSA and system design to start applying again in one year.
Let me know your opinion.

HRA - 2.4L
Special allowance - 1.9L
Food allowance - 26.4K
Professional pursuit - 60K
Internet - 12K
Half yearly bonus - 50K

PF contribution - 2K

Total CTC - 12.5L

Apart from this, I've also been allocated 1000 ESOPs

Is there any scope of negotiation here? If yes, how do I go about it?

Now, getting an offer from a startup. Team of 15-16 people. Pre seed stage startup. Will be building product from scratch. Lots of learning. 
Offering decent hike and since i m part of first team...getting small equity too.

Should I join this offer?

I m confused. But also thinking...it is risky but a lot to learn and growth potential is v high.

Hai All
working in a service based company around 4 years of exp CTC 8 LPA. Able to land an offer from a startup company with 12 LPA
since I am in notice period, I got many calls from other service based companies  WITCH. I clearly mentioned that I'm expecting 15 -17 LPA as a Backend developer which they said was okay. But after all the interview rounds they are not going more than 14 LPA and during negotiation there are trying to put guilt on my side (why are you switching after having an offer, 4 years we can't give more than 13Lpa )

I just want to know how to negotiate  well during discussions

I am Fresher completing college in 2022, non engg, Went through a full Stack web dev course in MERN stack from a popular coding bootcamp. Now have around 6 months experience as a freelancer in product based startups. Currently earning around 35-40k per month remotely with actively looking for Full Time opportunities with atleast 5-6LPA. Looking at current market conditions it's becoming very difficult to get it. 

I did get few offers all around 3.5LPA. Last year my peers were getting 6-7LPA easily with my skills and background as fresher.

Any suggestions from your side. Also if anyone hiring with my skill sets please let me know.

Currently I am having 3.7 years experience. I got an offer for 13.9 LPA and current CTC IS 10.2 LPA. Can I accept this offer or negotiate for better pay?

I started at a pre-rev startup for 10K per month internship as an app developer when I was in my 7th semester of engineering. By the 8th semester, i became a full time employee for 6LPA. That was about 12 months ago. I have great rapport with my CTO and CEO. I received an offer for 8LPA from a well known company, my current employer matched it. I received a counter offer for 11 LPA (10+1). Even though I like the people i don't feel overly optimistic about this given the market circumstances. Should I make the switch? Really very confused.

I'm really confused

I got reached out for a role and during the first meet, I got asked my expected salary. I'm a grad and I said 12-14 lpa. The other person in the meeting smiled a bit and showed a bit of hesitation (I think) and said that I could always negotiate. So, high chance that he's trying to lowball me. 

Now, the thing is, the startup's got like 7M in seed a funding and I also saw a college post saying that the company recruited a student from said college for a 26lpa package. Also it's a really small start-up.

I'm thinking of asking for 15+ now and would hence like some negotiation tips. Thanks.

I applied for internship in a startup for working until my graduation, it was for the same role i worked during my internship. During a phone call interview right now, he asked me how much you’ll be expecting when you join full time, so I mistakenly revealed my offer and how much i m expecting. He made me compare the 12 lpa which this startup can give to maximum and 36 lpa which is my ctc offer in another company. I told him that I am ready to do a internship now at a lower money(50k), but after a year, depending on the situations of the startup, we can negotiate on the salary if can get a competitive one. What should I do now?

Please give me suggestions on how should I had negotiated, and did i do anything wrong by revealing my another offer from another company.?
